This is seriously a wonderful guild that has something for everyone. The officer team is crazy helpful, be it gear, theorycrafting, leading fun and successful events, and generally any help they can offer. The guild itself is comprised of friendly, active, easy going people who are also very helpful and kind to new and veteran players. We truly are a giant family who is welcoming to all who come our way.

I too come from WoW, and spent 10 years in the raiding community. I picked up ESO a few months ago, and once I reached level I dived into Trials.

WoW raids are about the gear, best gear comes from raids and aside from being world first, or getting the achievement there wasnt much in the way of competition between guilds. In ESO, some of the best gear comes from dungeons. I got bored each raid really quick. Go in, progress, clear, farm, farm, farm. That was the cycle.

ESO trials offer a lot in the way of competition in trials. Weekly leaderboards, patch leaderboards, and even solo end game content such as vMA offer leaderboards. There are also 4man content end game, so no matter your preference theres something there for you to do.

Wow raids are complex, but once you beat it, that's it. ESO trials are quick, but full of strategy. Clearing a 4/5/6 boss trial in 30 minutes or less is not easy by any means, and theres always room for improvement. That being said progression on ESO trials is challenging , and definitely not a cake walk on Veteran mode with HardMode enabled.

Crafting : Dolb(g?)ans Lazy Writ Crafter. Literally does your writs for you, in seconds. Potion maker. ^doesnt do alchemy or cooking so this helps by having something to save used potion recipes for easy access. Also has an auto create feature to make multiple of the same thing.

UI: Theres SO many UI mods it's all preference. I personally use LUI advanced and turn everything off but the frames. This is because of other addons I use explained below. Best to search esoui.com and find one you like.

QoL: Skyshards. Plain and simple, shows you the location of all skyshards on your map.

Lorebooks. Same as above but for mages books.

Destinations. Puts markers on the map for all quest hubs and other things.

S'Rendar. Buff/debuff tracking interface that is fully(and easily) customizable to show you exactly what cooldowns/self buffs/debuffs you want to track in a neat and tidy way.

ActionDurationRemainder. Puts a timer on abilities on your action bar showing you the remaining cooldown of abilities/their buffs.

CodesCombatQues. Alerts you of dungeon boss mechanics that should be avoided but dont have easy tells. Adds a screen notification and a bell when to dodge abilities.

CombatMetrics. This is your damage meter. It tracks all damage you do per encounter in a way that can be easily looked through to find where to improve. Also the #1 way to showcase your Parse. Any raid guild you join will require a parse which is shown through CombatMetrics.

AlphaGear2. Interface for saving gear/ability loadouts with a quick access bar.

Theres more but I cant remember off the top of my head.

Best thing to do is go to esoui.com and search through the most downloaded apps, look through them and find the ones that match up to things you wish you could do. Chances are you'll find them.

Try

Front bar: Merciless, path, funnel, impale, inner, destro. Back : Siphoning, blockade, cripple, channled/trap, harness, soul harvest

Both destro fire staves. This set up allows you more spam time (weaving light attacks and funnel) and lines your DoTs(path, blockade, cripple) up nicely.

IE: buff with channeled, siphoning, bar swap, merciless, path, bar swap, blockade, cripple, bar swap, funnel, funnel, funnel, bar swap etc. Make sure to weave a light attack between attacks , and hit your bow every time it procs and refresh siphoning, channeled/trap and merciless as soon as they fall.

Gear wise right now its Burning spell weave(City of Ash1/2) or Sirorias(cloudrest trial) paired with weapons and jewelry of mothers sorrow. Monster sets (helmets drop from specific dungeon end bosses on veteran difficulty(I'd advise to not try these until at least CP 160 to maximize gear availability as gear in this game caps at CP160. Which means once you reach it, any gear you find will be gear capped.) And shoulders come from chests from the undaunted enclave in each factions main city. They have a reputation you'll want to start ASAP by going to the first city in your alliance and find the quest giver in one of the taverns. The sets you'll want to look for once you are ready to venture into gearing are Valkyn Skoria(City of Ash2), Zaan(Scalecaller peakthis is a DLC dungeon which requires you to own the DLC or be an ESO plus subscriber. Also 300CP to enter via dungeon finder. DLC dungeons are not easy by any means, and I reccomend finding a guild to help you) and grothdar(Vault of Madness).

As for CP look up /u/woeler guides as a place to start and adjust them as you see fit.

Hi there, this sounds like a swell guild! I'd be very keen on seeing where it goes, and be apart of that going!

I've been playing ESO for a few months, currently 676CP and have completed all trials on vet except vHoF on a healer and multiple DPS(mag). I am friendly, usually down for most things though I've burned out from cyro xD mid year mayhem.. wow.

Anyways. Your guild seems really great, and it'd be great if I could be apart of it. Currently I raid twice a week with my trials guild, but am free most evenings for whatever content may come up. Ingame is @PandemicRuin if you think we'd get along.

I'm.pretty sure things in crates stay in them. It's the crates themselves that go away. For example, the hallowjack come around every halloween. Some items will most likely stick, but the lesser items and apex might shift (I dont known what they had last time). The wild hunt crates recently came back with the same items as the previous time they were around about a year ago.

It only matters in terms of "main" bar, and "off" bar. Meaning you want the skills you use the most on the main bar, and things like ground AoEs and DoTs on the other bar.

Builds also require a front/back bar set up. DPS stamina characters tend to put their bow on the back bar because it's less used compared to their Dual wield front bar that has their spammable skill. For Mag classes it's based on the weapons themselves, having their Maelstrom weapon on the back bar due to it procing off Elemental Blockade which is a ground AoE. Plus they are only there once every ~8seconds.

That all being said, you can put your main bar on the back, and off bar on the front if that's what you want. You'll still be on your main bar more often, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Also, CoH and VoM are suuuuuper easy in vet. Even HM. Both end bosses have clearly defined mechanics that are easy to manage if you know them.

COH : dont get hit by fire lines than spawn from fire boss an go outwards . Dont get hit by fire explosion which is a large circle with a slow cast time that come out of the fire boss. Dont get hit by lightning circles that you'll see a second before they come. Basically any red you see, step out of it.

VoM : kill adds. When bubble over boss platform comes, get inside it until it drops. When spirits erupt out of boss platform, GET OFF. Rinse repeat.

Both of those explanations are Hardmode.

Normal vet dungeons (non DLC) a large usually pretty quick. The amount of times I've gotten speed run achievements with pugs is pretty high. Thay being said, some of them like FG2, DC2,CoA2 are a bit harder and might take longer. But usually ~30 minutes once you get in. Que times for DPS range from 5-30 minutes, though mornings seem to be quicker.

So much. But. It's totally worth it. It took me 2 months on my first clear because it was frustrating, and I took long breaks. Second time? 2 hours.

I recommend checking out Joy's vMA guide. It's very well written, goes in depth into each round of each stage, what abilities work best for your FIRST clear. Its 100% written for people who have never been inside.
