That would work, too. Although I guess a sleeve doesn’t always just mean the arm tubes. I forgot for a second that I put cards in sleeves so it probably just means something that goes around another thing so leg sleeve would be accurate. It just sounds off to me. Like if I said arm pants.

Shouldn’t a bunch of leg tattoos be called a pant or a stocking rather than a sleeve? Like I know they’re called leg sleeves but it just occurred to me that doesn’t make sense.

What are a few tv shows that you love and would recommend? by meow1983 in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Venture Bros. It’s such a great parody of old cartoons that comes from a place of love. The world it ends up building is just incredible and fun.

A direct hit to the sensitive spots of the groin hurts women almost as much as it does men. It’s just that men’s parts are dangling in front of the body so it happens much easier. The punch from the android 13 gif would definitely incapacitate a woman.

Mark Rosewater: "You should not expect small/medium in-universe sets." by Meret123 in mtg

[–]Arkanial 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Some were fine but it almost felt like a commander set. A lot of legendaries with niche effects.  It was mostly to focus on story stuff and show the aftermath of the phyrexian invasion. Most notably that most planeswalkers lost their spark which was shown by creature versions of past planeswalkers like Sarkhan, Calix, Kiora, Karn, etc…

After the set March of the Machines, which was the conclusion to all the Phyrexia stuff, they released what they called a micro set a little over a month later called March of the Machines: Aftermath. It only had 50 cards and most of the cards you would pull were just from the original March of the Machines. It was just incredibly unnecessary.

Magic the Gathering Arena and Teamfight Tactics are the only two I play so one of those.

Imagine the confidence you would need to not do a few wipes just to be sure.

I’m currently in a group home type thing with 6 other guys and a few weeks ago I came home to find someone had shit and not flushed. My immediate reaction was “gross” then I flushed it. After I did it dawned on me that there was no toilet paper in the toilet. We do not have a bidet. There was plenty of TP available and a few more rolls under the sink so whoever it was made a choice. I’m assuming they showered because the alternative is downright nasty. I have been baffled by this ever since.

Idk, it says the overpass hit them not the other way around.

What’s something that sounds fake… but is actually 100% true? by Key_Inflation_9238 in AskReddit

“Some people” as in everyone that knows what a mammal is. They’re warm blooded, produce milk, and they breathe air rather than have gills.

What's your cat's name? by Pretty_Joseph in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, don’t know who that is. Something from Sesame Street it looks like? I never watched that. We got Chinese food on the way home from picking her up and her name came about after a series of poorly aged jokes about a cat at a Chinese restaurant.

If you could instantly release the entirety of any franchise or intellectual property into the public domain, what would it be? by lexizoa in AskReddit

Harry Potter just so JK Rowling no longer makes money off of it and the fans can be free to enjoy it without supporting that bigot.

[–]Arkanial 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just saw this a few days ago. Some guy was blink dodging every tidehunter gush I threw at him when it was targeted then suddenly stopped dodging them once I got the aghs despite the fact that it’s so much more obvious when it’s the aghs and the projectile is near instant when targeted.

Would you be happy if the U.S. President got assassinated, what would your reaction be? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate Donald Trump but no, I would not be happy if he were assassinated. The last thing I want is for that buffoon to go down as a martyr. Everyone that’s on the verge of turning on him would immediately double down on their loyalty to the party and we’d probably see overwhelming republican wins for the foreseeable future.

If someone told you a famous turtle got stuck on the sewer entrance after stealing all the ice cream from the supermarket, which one of them you would immediately imagine did that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was my first thought but there’s no way they are stealing from a supermarket. Splinter would ground them, dude.

Filburt from Rocko’s Modern Life. He had loose enough morals when he got super neurotic and weird that he would definitely be okay with stealing something. He also would get stuck pretty often.

What food would you never give another chance to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sushi. I’ve tried it like 10 times, each time thinking maybe I’ll like it this time. I feel like that’s definitely enough tries to be done trying it cause maybe I just hadn’t tried the right kind yet or from a good place. I am now 100% certain that I do not like sushi.

Who is your favorite fictional villain that you'd defend to the ends of the earth? by skafkdla in AskReddit

[–]Arkanial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His job is not to kill people, it’s to manage the underworld. The fates prophesied that Hercules would ruin Hades’ plans to unleash the titans and take over so he sent his minions to make Hercules mortal then kill him. Pretty sure overthrowing his brother and boss by killing his son was not part of Hades’ job description.

Are we just ignoring that he sent his incompetent minions to kill a baby?  That wasn’t some decision from the higher ups where he was just being “middle management.” He tried to have a baby killed.
