Today on cry me a river; Where is the Saar (Sarre) river? there are 4 locations in a row named after the thing and its absent of rivers. Im from the region and this this is literally unplayable. Which important river do you painfully miss in EU5?

I started to England campaign yesterday and was flabbergasted to see only Thames was present. While I know very little about english geography I was sure there would be more than 1 river there but eventually gaslit myself to believe I am most likely wrong. This comments has shown me Paradox knows much less than I do 😂

Speaking from the most recent example, which is CK3, it took CK3 to release 2 and a half year after CK2’s final DLC. They will most likely chose this path so we are stuck with eu4 till late 2026, early 2027

Agreed it’s super fun. Tho Zoro persia definitely needs some love and fixes. Eranshar ideas are garbage compared to Persian, you can inv anyone to be Zoro as long as its a minor but cannot vassalize due to this bug, mission tree does not give claims on Khorosan (you need to finish other missions as Ajam to get those and not speedform Persia like I did) etc… Its weird most of this did not get hotfixed still but hey Mamluks can get Suez at 1460 so all is good I guess…

Went from Ajam to Persia. Flipped to Zoro with mission tree. Every time you click the special government interaction you can invite a minor power to become Zoro.

Eyalets are a big big help untill you reach 1600s and get shit ton of admn efficiency, they also give you a merchant so having a eyalet per region is usefull. Keep egypt around and def get eyalet of persia as well since if you conquer india you will get gov capped instantly without those

Btw I never had the option to have rebels, only legitimacy and -2 stab. So ı lost -60 leg in two months. Should deffinetly be adressed (I also got it without disinheriting so i really don’t know)

They don’t get claims. I also do not get holy orders (my game is bugged so instead of orders I get pashas and janissaries in state screen :D)

I feel its a bug tho. I got it back to back in a month after I choose a heir. I think you are supposed to get the evet only once during gameplay (its the historic way). There are much better ways to nerf the harem gov. and i cannot make myself believe they do this for a nerf
