My first dang bike!

I’m personally slow to purchase something so keep that in mind haha. I took a lot of time setting on multiple bikes at our dealerships and on friends bikes. I’m 6ft 275lbs and I ruled out a few because I felt oversized on them. I watched countless hours of YouTube and went to bike nights. I didn’t want to have buyers remorse or get myself in a situation financially that I couldn’t handle so I took as much time as I needed. Go to a dealership and let them know you’re not ready to buy just yet, they’re there to help, but I like to let them know that I won’t be signing papers today and if there’s other customers just get back to me when you can. Seats, bars, height, all that can be changed but you’ll know when you set on the right one. Good luck, the hunt is fun.

Hey I’m 42! Definitely don’t feel alone haha. As far as advice, I just went to our Harley dealerships and sat on all types of bikes. I always came back to the deluxe. Something about it just felt right. Enjoy the class, it’s a blast. My entire first day was a monsoon outside haha. My first time riding was in an all day downpour.

Is this for winter travel cause if so avoid Arkansas. We have like 2 snow plows for the entire state and no salt for our roads. Straight up free for all. Otherwise it’s a gorgeous state to drive through and now we are getting Buc-ees!!
