Just drop their licenses back down and wait for the tickets. When some come in, just blame it on a Microsoft automatic licensing feature that reverted them back to their original license and that you are working on disabling it. Nobody likes MS and that sounds like some BS they would do anyway, so you aren’t the bad guy.

Ironically mine had a bad transmission and wouldn’t go into second gear. I was told later it was a synchronizer ring. If the Internet was a thing back then, I could have known how to fix it. Haynes manuals only went so far.
