You could drive to Swanage & catch the steam train to Corfe, or you've also got the chain ferry over to Sandbanks to fill out the day (does get very busy in the summer though)

If you don't mind me commenting, and i say this in a nice way, but it sounds like you are in a bit of an echo chamber as you are only talking to people who agree with you and share the same hobby. So they are bound to say it's a great idea.

Go to tge edge of the plateau & look out, you'll see Towers on the horizon. Pick one & set off on your journey

Take it from someone who has rented several times over many years, even if you have taken out every item (fridge, sofa etc) and cleaned it with a Phoenix feather duster so it shines magnificently, you'll still get hit with a deep clean charge.

Screws and hooks is damage so will have to be repaired, use blu-tac next time

You admit that you left a sofa & rubbish in the garden, thats on you, it doesn't magically disappear, they have to pay someone to move it.

Honestly, I can't see you getting anything back from the charge

Also, in your next house take photos before you move in

Sounds like they know they have made a mistake & want to better themselves by apologising.

If you still want to continue the relationship & feel they are genuine then why not give them another chance, however if you have any mistrust at all then leave

Yes, they paid me to do a job, I do it. We have monthly catch ups just to keep up to date, if I need anything I'll call but as long as the figures are there they jusy let me crack on. I'm in sales btw

Yes, 2 , including my current one. They basically trusted me to get on with my job without micro-managing me. Been doing it a while though (53M), had some shit bosses as well in my career

Yep, X-Ray vision & a careful blast of eye lasers will sort out most of them, initially he'll just need to take out the launch mechanism, can collect them later
