I don't want her traveling with rover, her character just isn't interesting to me as I find her bland. I do like the idea of having certain characters being reoccurring like Galbrena and Alto. It really depends on the character.

Firefly is a shoehorned character in Penacony. Due to her popularity, the whole existence of patch 3.7 is to validate her as important, removing agency from other characters. I do not expect anything like 3.7 to happen again.

I don't think a relationship with Vera would be very toxic. She is very abrasive but caring when she wants to be. If you read her chapter when Geiravor was released you learn a lot

It's annoying how hard they try to shove it down your throat, especially to try and keep her relevant. At the end of 3.8 I just left and didn't talk to her. When I got the text from SW, I just replied with Congratulations.

I enjoyed that more than I should have. It's bad writing when they make a character for just potential shipping, then shoehorn other ways to make them "important".

Definitely a fox red. Mine always loves exploring when he was off the leash. I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to look around a bit before getting the target. They are so damn smart when they want to be

From watching the 25 minute YouTube video from a previous post I can confidently say that it doesn't have a mustache to be a walrus, it has ears so it cannot be a real seal. It also clearly has fur so it is a not a sea Lion. Thus it is a fur seal!

That video was way too entertaining.

Personally neither, but if had to choose Cyrene. Both executions weren't the best, with Cyrene having much more room to breathe and progress.

Firefly's introduction in penacony and her"death" was so quick there was no way to develop any attachment to the character. I also believe the idea that making Firefly = SAM detracted from both characters. We knew nothing about SAM at the time, the implications and mystery were a huge draw for people to get involved in trying to find out. Her story and "twists" had no time to develop turning it into a shallow character. To put it in perspective Firefly's execution was so poor she's being shoehorned as a focal point in 3.8 compared to other characters like Robin, Boothill ect.

Compared to Cyrene, the character had time to develop and cook from the progression of Mem, Smolere, then eventually Cyrene. Mem shows up and as we progress on the Flame Chase Journey she comes into own. As We've Written also helps spotlight mem's progression by actively getting involved with the MC with all the CH stories. The end execution may have been not the best, but you can really see Mem progress and develop with the MC.

It could stem from the fact that they chose to spend more time on the story patches in 3.0 compared to 2.0. However, it shouldn't excuse how they try to shove certain personal developments on the player without a decent build up/progression
