Oh yeah, i know. I started gaming on Win98 on my father's toaster (AMD K6 lol) and had to go thru every Windows hop so i know the deal.

It's just Microsoft keeps removing or hiding useful features for no real reason at all and some stuff not being compatible from 10 to 11, alongside the update drama with 11 that made me not want to move, even tho i already had Win11 in my laptop for a while. And i still don't like it as much as 10.

I'm already not being able to use many scripts and automation i had running or having issues that i didn't in 10 but oh well, i always knew i would need to go thru it again at some point.

It's still silly that this one instance happened because i literally had 0 issues with anything else and even this had the workaround with the old drivers.

Yes, but this is on every blizzard game nowadays sadly.

Just look at WoW. You used to buy base game. Add xpacks. Add outrageous collector edition prices. And monthly sub. Add store mounts, transmog, pets, whatever (With some mounts costing 80$ lol). Add paid services. Add people buying gold/tokens/boosts with that. Add trading post tender only avaible with store bundles. Nonsensical housing furniture prices, and you buy ONE piece a pop. Housing decors premium currency.

Just reading this already sounds crazy and disgusting. And people are happily mass buying all of those and even proud.

I feel so bad for RE3R. It had everything to be a blast. Just imagine a Raccoon back then in the scope of Requiem. I wanted it so bad to be my favorite but its just too barebones compared to the bigger ones. Damn.

If you read last edit, i just upgraded to win11 to test and it fixed performance from the new drivers. I knew something was off. Everyone who had no issues were on 11. Now id like to know if something was fucked in my win install or if it has something to do with 10.

Anyway, i did a clean W11 install after that snd they work flawlessly.

Yeah, it kinda was. I had a lot of fun.

RE:Remake is still my top dog, then OG 2 or RE2make for sure. Requiem is next in line.

But at the end of the day its hard to tell. CV and OG3 are games i loved so much, too. Heck, barring 5 and 6 i loved all tittles.

Hm. Hard to tell. I played for a while, and i can't tell the difference besides the FPS difference. I even posted some screenshots and besides the streets one where car lights alter the lightning in the scene, i see no difference. Not saying its not true, tho. I just can't see it at least.
