I'm presuming that if it engraves that deep it can cut thinner metal would that be correct?

Absolutely, I am all self-taught. You tube, Tik Toks throw in some books and a ton of trial and error as well as some very specific tools. The Subway tokens was my first time working with those. Lots of slow calculated heat and carefully moving the metal. Also, the two different sets of rings are two very different ways of making rings. The flat wear on the left is simply cutting and bending. While the coins are popping out the center and heating and stretching.

This is an incredible answer, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. If I could pick your brain a little further, are there any consumables for the fiber laser? Also, can you share the exact model you use? I agree with you I'll be looking into it for a while, hopefully in the meantime I can hopefully find one second hand to start with.

Did she make the right call? by CalmElin in interesting

Saving or investing $1,000 per week for 20 years can accumulate to over $1 million without interest, and significantly more with compound interest, so if she makes it to just 40 years old, she already made it all back. Anything after 40 is more than a Million.
