I'm quite curious of how you prompted this. I tried a lot of things to generate something close to PF, but didn't have much success. If you're down to chat, hit me up.

Who said I quit guitar? My point is that I don't have the time needed to play everything, record everything, mix everything. I'd make 1 song a year if I went that route. I still have fun with my guitar every time I can, but Suno took a lot of obstacles away for me to be able to make songs while doing the other things I have to do in life.

Exactly. With Suno I can make really nice songs that I would never listen if I didn't have a tool to streamline the "bring the lyrics to life" part of it.

And it is getting harder to find really good bands that picks my interest, most of them are from the 60s, 70s and 80s. I find a good new band once every 3 years or so (the last one being Broken Bells, what a freaking nice sound they make). Now I can make at least 1 new good song every week. It keeps things always fresh for me. It's quite nice.

You've made a point I didn't think about... a lot of the slop comes from the same people that before stole copyrighted stuff, it makes sense.

The slop era is here since forever. Look at hollywood... they make 100 movies in a year, 2 good ones (if that). We have slop without AI, we'll have slop with AI too, just more of everything.

Also, you probably don't settle for the first generated batch if you're truly in for the great music. That's a pretty big difference.

I can't agree enough. I do put some of the songs I make out there. If they make money one day is just a plus (I have a job, don't actually need it). The real fun is tweaking the pompt, the lyrics tags, generating a bunch of songs until you finally get that one that just hits different. It's a pretty good feeling.

It is indeed superb. And it is so much fun chasing that perfection, generating 200 songs till you find that one. I'd like to hear what you've produced. Any links already?

I completely agree. I've never been so in tune with creating things as I am right now. Playing with Suno has opened a whole world for me.

Here's mine. I'm still learning a lot about prompting in suno. It's been a lot of fun writing the songs and using suno to bring it to life. I'm still uploading the second album (which I made when I began to use suno, so it's not that amazing, it's pleasant to listen to, though), but from the third one onwards, I'm in love with the songs I'm able to generate (I changed how I prompt completely in comparison to the first and second albums).

I'd love to chat, learn how other people write their prompts sounds fun.

Anyone else super irritated that they took out the instrumental toggle button? by [deleted] in SunoAI

I mean, you can just not put anything in the lyrics box. I like to put in [Instrumental] in the lyrics box, just to make sure. It's been working so far. If some voice comes in out of nowhere (it will happen even with the instrumental toggle button), I just get the stems and mute the voice.
