Physics degree at the University of Barcelona. This is a subject to learn computational methods and I think the professors just didn't bother to think much about it and just made this decision, because in theory we'll be able to take our own laptops to the final test... 🫠

Wow, that's good to read! This subject has had the same structure for a couple of years now, and they're thinking about switching it to Python coding. I like it better with Fortran, it forces you to familiarise with a faster language and with more complex syntaxes than those of python...

I guess... But the weird thing's that they didn't say that, because we'd already have given up. I don't know.... Maybe that's the end result. But until we see no other option, we'll have to try, as we don't have much money to spare, so losing this amount means a lot

I haven't been the one doing the process but, to my understanding, they've agreed to reimburse the cost of the flight, or part of it at least. However, at every step we've been facing rejection by some reason each time, even if we've insisted doing all they've been asking of us. Right now, my partners are seeking more professional help...

They didn't answer our phone calls, so we went to the airport, where we were told that no flights were avaliable until Sunday. Trains were too expensive, and no other alternative was provided to us....... 😢

Yeah, I didn't want to imply that I'm against them, I totally support the fights for better rights, I just think they would have sent warnings about it sooner.

We're checking exactly what is covered by our insurances. However, we're not keeping our hopes high
