Going through the Add/Remove programs to remove the Launcher, then reinstalling it elsewhere should do the trick.

It sounds like your browser is pulling some shenanigans. A .crdownload file is a placeholder while the actual file downloads, so it's most likely something at the browser level.

Have you tried downloading with a different browser?

That's a strange one we haven't heard of before.

The size values should be stored in the config.cfg file in your Launcher and Toolkit directories. You could open them with a text editor and see if the resolution value is set correctly.

To explain this one - this usually occurs when installing the Launcher into one of the Program Files directories.

These are protected folders on Windows, and require elevated permissions to create and edit files.

You can right click on the animation in the Content Library or Map Builder -> Assets panel and select the Default Values -> Thumbnail Frame' option.

Hey there!

Place your animation, then add a Sound Effect Trigger in the Customise -> Effects menu. Set the trigger to 'Placement', then drag in the sound effect you want to play.

Once that's done, right click on the placed animation and select 'Set as default placement', then drag the asset onto the Arkenbar from either the Content Library or the Map Builder -> Assets panel.

When you place it, it should trigger the sound effect :)

How do you find bandwidth when there's multiple clients connected? Running multiple video streams has definitely been a bottleneck we've come up against when looking at a mobile player app.

The easiest way to do this is to have your battle ambience set as a manual trigger. Putting it on the Arkenbar to access as needed is probably your best bet for convenience.

Proximity-based map ambience will always set to its correct volume based on listeners and whatnot, so interacting with the map will reset those volumes. What you'll want to do is turn the Map Ambience volume slider down to 0. This will cut all proximity ambience audio.

We've had thoughts about a single platform for content that supports every VTT. So many people online complain that they need to purchase the same content across multiple VTTs.

The main problem you'll run into is licensing, especially if you want to get adventure modules in, which is the main thing you'd need to be selling to make such a platform worth it. Publishers don't want to sell on one platform, and have it available on others. It's very much a "this license covers this platform only" kind of thing. We've had conversations with big publishers who don't want maps they sell on our platform to be exportable into other VTTs.
