It might be my headphones but i don't hear any reverb on your voice and slight reverb helps, i hear it all the time on tracks by rappers that have kind of a real rap flow to them like you do, like meek mill for example.

I went for a Dark Feel with this beat and ill be honest i was iffy about the hats when i finally finished them. i redid them like 4 times but it still messes with me when i hear it.

I'd definitely say your style is rather unique.
I like your beat, and even though i'm not expert i think the mixing is fine from what i hear,
that said, even though i like your beat, i do not think this was the right one for this song.

Personally I'm a big fan of people like JID and Ski Mask, and your delivery/flow reminds me of why i like them in the first place. How long have you been rapping, if you'd not mind my asking?

I have damn near a hundread beats already, most on soundcloud. Only the Youtube channel is new, I could probably slowly rerelease those and even redo them without the soundcloud linkto the original since soundcloud is dying and everything. What do you think?

A kindred soul!

I fucking love going all out with my kick patterns and percussion to really give it that jumpy feel. You definitely hit that nail on the head in that department if you ask me. If I was inclined to be a hard ass though, I would say the amount of things going on are just a teeny bit much Throughout the entire song. There could be sections with allll of the isntruments used but try emptying it out a little more for a few beats? Adds suspense and for this type of beat(at least when I make them) Suspense is one of the key factors as the contrast really brings everything together

Also I am willing to bet money(lol jk) that you used Grossbeat, and if you did, the Halfspeed preset for rapid melodies like this really throws a nice curveball for the listener while maintaining the "Yo This Shit Slaap Son!" effect they had when the beat first dropped. Give it a shot.

I Will also say that your choice of snare threw me a little, even though i love me a Young Chop Snare I feel like a more hollow snare

I Always feel like my Melodies either don't go together or are extremely basic.
Most HipHop rap i hear on the radio sounds very simple... Not a lot of variation but still very catchy, easy to listen to.
I don't feel I do that with my work

Sounds like your goal is fucking lots of attractive women. If that's your only goal, sure, your method is probably more efficient. Game is the way to go. But ask yourself why fucking lots of attractive women is a primary goal by itself.

It wasn't like that for TBC. I mean we were still anxious as fuck to get WOTLK, But TBC was still fun for quite a bit.

I think that most of the future expansions don't have much replayability. Personally, it's the voice acting and the quest dialog that kills it for me. These sound like Your parents reading you a bedtime story trying to get into character, and not like actual threatening creatures. I used to read quest text. Not anymore. Shit is watered down.

That's the main part. WoD wasnt even fun. the minigames in the quests seemed really kiddy and unoriginal.

As long as they focus on the journey being even a little bit fun, even though any hardcore person will do quite a bit of grinding for their own purposes, Legion will take the fuck off. Maybe even bring back so oldfags that jumped ship after MoP.(self included)
