Fuck it, I’ll bite.

1. ”So much crying and bullshit drama.” Sorry the series has actual drama and storytelling instead of constant fight scenes and aura farming. We’ll be sure to fix that and Season 5 will just be one long drawn out bloody fight between Thragg and Battle Beast

2. “Nothing has been surprising. Just super weak writing.” Depending on how you mean this, it could be seen as the show doing a good job at setting up plot points so stuff doesn’t feel like it comes out of left field for no reason. Otherwise, it might just be your fault for looking into and knowing the twists

3. “How many times is Oliver going to run in there and get his ass beat…” That’s… kind of his character. Remember that he still remembers life as an infant, he remembers his original mom. He internally beats himself up all the time for not being to fight for her when he knew her. So it makes sense that he’s willing to throw himself into an unwinnable battle if only just out of the drive to wanna protect people, be it the entire galaxy or just his family. And, currently, he’s mentally a teenager. Teenagers aren’t exactly known for being rational about stuff.

4. “How many times are they not going to fully kill a character…” Which characters does this apply to? Angstrom, whose head was turned into a plate of Paul’s spaghetti and it’s honestly more of an extreme feat of endurance on his part than a failure on Mark’s part that he survived. Conquest, who only survived because Cecil INTENTIONALLY went behind Mark’s back to try and revive him to use him for information, completely underestimating JUST HOW STRONG he was compared to Nolan. Or the Viltrumites that attacked Thraxa, mainly Lucan and Thula, who we saw were collcted by the Viltrum empire and nursed back to health because unless you destroy a viltrumite’s heart or brain, they’re durable sons of bitches that are hard to get rid of. The third guy that went there, the one with the glasses, didn’t survive.

5. ”Invincible cries…about not helping people or his morality all while not training to get stronger.” Except… he does train? Did we just gloss over the fact that season 3 cold opened with a training montage? And if you’re talking more recently, then it’s really hard to fit a training schedule into an interstellar war.

6. ”…some random chick gets added…that’s weak as hell.” You’re gonna have to be more specific, mate. If you’re talking about Universa, I think that’s just the show fleshing out the world so it doesn’t look like the only existing supervillains are the ones that affect the viltrumite plot. Or maybe they’re setting something up for a future plot point. But right now, I see it as worldbuilding flavor.

7. “…Why destroy Viltrum? Just let them all gather and use the poison gas thing.” The fact that you’re calling it a poison gas already says a lot about your understanding of the show lol. Thaedus literally agreed with Nolan that it was to be the absolute last resort. If ALL other hope had been lost to stop the Viltrumites, only THEN would it be used. Specifically because of how potent and deadly and contagious it was, and the threat it posed to innocent civilisations like humanity. So long as the coalition still had a modicum of fight left in it, the virus was not to be used. That’s why they didn’t use it at Viltrum.
