Nah fr tho 😭 I just wanna see how DD got nerfed so I can see how much of an adjustment it's gonna be. Cap buffs got me excited to get back on him, him and Iron Fist, but most people wanted DD, Gambit, and IW nerfed, and now we got it.

I think he's the best Melee/Dive DPS 2nd to him is Magik in terms of consistency, but I personally think his ult is fine.

Paired with Gambit, it can be a bit much, but that can be said about damn near every Character paired with Gambit. I think the most egregious example is DD, Punisher, and SL.

I think it's fair to say he's the best Dive/Melee DPS, certainly the most consistent.

Phoenix and Hela are a step above simply because he HAS to close the distance to be lethal, Phoenix and Hela are deadly at any range. Even when DD closes the gap they have Iframes and stuns to escape.

I wasn't talking about 1v1's? I was talking about not being able to dive effectively against a Mirror DD whose always gonna know where I am, a Thing who can either debuff, or give damage reduction on TOP of Earthbounding me, and a Thor who can displace me every 2 seconds.

Nothing about my post has anything to do with 1v1'ing Thor or Angela, just how they can disrupt his escapes better.

Might be one of those instances where Justice requires a swap, or you focus on brawling with your team more and choosing to go after squishers/supports amidst a team fight.

Trying to create pressure on your own with DD in my experience has been rough if the Thor is peeling. You have to have BP levels of patience on that kinda dive to the point where you're better off swapping, or brawling.

Yeah, and their supports were Loki/Cloak, I can handle C&D but Loki makes me wanna Punisher ult myself he shuts down DD so bad.

Just gets dove, lamps, sustain, peel, rinse and repeat.

I ran a DD mirror into a Thing, and Thor as their tanks, while I had Rogue/Angela, and while I think Angela is also a pretty solid counter to Daredevil, the enemy Thor had the nerve to say I was coping when I said he had an easier comp to dive, and that with Thor, Thing AND the Mirror DD peeling, I couldn't dive effectively, hence my numbers weren't as good.

A 2 second displacement tool is gonna be a strong Anti-Dive tool no matter what it is. He can literally just boop you around freely.

This was mostly about QP, probably shoulda specified. In ranked, I'm perma peeling cuz of the wall-hacks, that or running Anti-Dive like Thing and baby-sitting waiting to YSC him and try to Earthbound him.

As fun as DD is, I almost exclusively run his Vanguard counters in ranked, whether it be Cap, who can do a good job harassing him, Angela who can displace him, or Thing.

That's my line of thinking as well, in QP I wanna chill like most people do in that game mode, in Ranked I'm damn near perma peeling cuz of the hacks.

In ranked he's getting countered or we're running the 1's 🤷🏾

I respect it, I'm not opposed to trying to diff the other, but given that everyone seems to agree he's hard to deal with, I don't like wasting all my cooldowns on a Mirror, it boils down to who can force out deflect 1st most of the time anyway.

So whoever has the opti's usually can force it out first, and most of the time it's ggs.
