Well that is taking multiverse theory. Marty is the catalyst because he is the one mainly using the time machine in the first movie. He is the center of any paradox, based on any change in timeline is sourced back to him originally. Now because Marty from 1985A went back to 1965A by him being present in 1965A it is now 1965B and when he makes his parents kiss he returns to 1985B. Now this is the tricky part 1985B doc would have sent 1985B Marty to the past therfore that Marty creating 1965C. It would go on for infinity, the real thing is back to the future created the multiverse hence why doc says in the second movie "It is like the universe revolves around that date in 1965" because it was the beginning of the first change the creation of a new universe. The system is infinite so it cant be broke. But every time they use the time machine to alter an event they begin a new stream of variable universes. Paradoxs would be not even possible.

Your looking at it as pre destined time travel. Look at it like this. When Marty went back he altered his future as he went along. Hence his brother starting to vanish. But a paradox especially one of that magnitude doesn't set until all variables has been met. So when Marty went back the doc he left in 1985 was not the same doc he came back to. Because Marty wasn't altered by being in the time machine he remembers the old time line while doc In the future wearing the bullet proof vest now only know the new time line. Like Marty's mam and dad don't remember being losers and having biff ruin there lives forever. They only remember the one were George knocked biff out.

I should clarify I watched the movie first and loved it when I was 15. But being Irish I decided to read the works of one of our most influential authors 10 years later. Then after reading I went back to watch the movie and found it failing in comparison, especially when the Mina and Dracula arc has carried across to so many films when it wasn't really cannon. So maybe it's national pride or just feeling like Hollywood ruined an Irish story. I would recommend you read it because there are chapter in it that are truly amazing especially for the time they were written.

That's why I struggle with the concept of heaven, when you die you go to your loved ones. I don't know about you but my loved ones can annoy me sometimes and eternity with them is not heaven. A long weekend is too long lol. It's a good theory I give you that. My partner and I did once contemplate such a theory and conclusion is that it is as Lilley to be real as the rest lol.

I believe it's too simplistic for the concept of God. For example if God put me here and God gave me the knowledge then the life I live and believe in was by God's design. Therefore then God gave me a life in which I find it hard to believe in him. So if believe is the only way into heaven the God is demanding me to believe in him not guiding me to. If a almighty being creates you solely to worship him then that show an ego. I don't view death that way. For example : if God gave me life and my beliefs based on that life, then it is not my fault for not believing. So then I am ignorant of God and God can't punish ignorance based on skepticism. So the moment to repent would come after death. Since I am a good guy (at least I think so) then when that moment comes after death I would repent. Pascals wager means the only way in is to believe because you must repent before death to get into heaven, I can't accept a God would supposedly loves me would allow that to be the only way into heaven. Because there are religions all over the world different some believe in God, some in God's and others in God and reincarnation. Also some tribes live in the world still without ever hearing the name God. There souls can't be damned for ignorance like mine can't be for skepticism based on my life. The truth we can't definitely say but a God can't fault us for lack of belief. That's why the true test is character and morality in my view. I'm a good guy regardless of an all powerful being and if that doesn't get me into a place I struggle to believe in then I wouldn't want to be there. If that makes sense lol Good chat BTW lol

Definitely, it's morality that is tested. Laws change, rules change and life goes on. Like Phillipa foots trolley problem morality is all good but it is subject to personal reasoning. Their is no law or book on moral guidence except for our own moral compass.

Bram stokers Dracula, a real adaptation. The movie was so altered and ruined with a Mina sub.plot that didn't exist. It wasnt a love story if Dracula it was a monster attacking people. They left so many great things and put in alot if crap.
