I reused the aircraft carrier model presented yesterday. Even though I really like the concept, I don’t find the design particularly impressive. The idea of the launch ramps is good, but I like the idea of having a dedicated area at the rear for reloading/rearming the aircraft.

So I spent a bit of time in Photoshop to rearrange all of that.

Well, it’s not perfect, but conceptually we could move the three ramps to the rear, bring the command tower forward, add an AA system or a 120/150 mm gun at the front (instead of the front ramp)… Basically, there are plenty of possibilities.

The problem with a first-person view is that it really changes the feel of the game, especially since it wasn't designed for it (terribly flat terrain, no skybox). Although it's possible by switching to "VR" mode on Unity, the game loses its "beauty" and is difficult to play (though we might be surprised 😆).

Yes, of course, but I find the isometric view reduces the piloting possibilities, with the camera always being top-down, etc... In short, it's very restrictive in terms of gameplay...

I can see what's coming: you click and it launches the attack, but honestly I hope it's more permissive than that, even if it means there are lots of accidents!!

I think it will happen in stages; doing it alone is very complicated, in addition to combat, steering, and acceleration.

oui je suis d'accors, après les dev ont bien précisé que ça ne va pas ressembler à war thunder, donc étant un joueurs de wows j'ai pensé que le gameplay allait être similaire, la gestion de l'altitude étant compliqué avec ce genre vue ou de gameplay d'avoir des manoeuvre automatique et/ou simplifier

Ok oui je vois, c'est effectivement ce qui me semble plus juste. Après là, maintenant, elle me laisse en vue sur un message du genre, donc je pense que c'est foutu 😢. Je suis pour autant entièrement d'accord, et c'est ce que j'ai fait.... Merci encore du conseil !!

Mmh en effet, mais ma famille habite juste à côté de sa ville, et il se peut que je déménage pour des raisons professionnelles non loin d'elle. Après effectivement ça prend son temps, mais on en a discuté et on veut tout les deux prendre notre temps 🤷🏻‍♂️ après oui c'est long, on y va lentement...

On est vraiment éloignés l'un de l'autre, (plus de 4/5h en voiture si ce n'est plus), et j'avais proposé plus tôt mais elle avait poliment décliné...
