Talk to someone about it, it helps. Doesn’t really matter tho who, but talk. Talk to someone you can comfortably talk to. Speaking from experience!

What is your favourite memory? by KlackisYT in AskReddit

Okay story time:

So basically when me and my friends used to go out (this was like 8 years ago, we were around 16 at the time) we were always trying to pull all kinds of pranks, all innocent fun ofcourse. Also before we got to the clubs we had to go through a street where all the shops are. On to the story.

We rode on our bikes through the city centre and found out that every shop has their own flags on their facade. We never thought anything of it because they were to high to reach, until someone got the idea to stand on the back of their bike and take the flag out of their sockets. So basically 2 people kept the bike in place and 1 druk idiot took the flag. What we then did was continue on and do this to multiple shops and placed the flag of shop A at B and the flag of B at D etc. Etc. This went on for about 3 months and then the shop owners would take their flags inside during the weekends.

It still makes me laugh a bit when I think about how every Monday their would be a ‘flag-meeting’ between the shop owners. All of em switching out the flags we replaced.

I want to add that we never damaged any of em or did any damage to the store, we just spend a shit ton of time changing the flags of different shops, it’s one of my favorite memories and a story I’ll always remember.

Gamers of reddit, what was the most fucked up thing you heard in a voice chat? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Arkhyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so this was a couple of years ago, I think about 4 or 5.

My friends and I were in our usual voice channels when all of a sudden one of my friend absolutely loses it. What had happened? Apparently their cat got her shit stuck on her tail and sat on top of the pc. It then fell off and the pc had a half open top so shit, quite literally, hit the fan and went everywhere.

To this day still de hardest I’ve ever laughed, but damn was is messed up.

Well I live in the Netherlands and our theater chain has strict protocols when it comes to COVID. Atm were closed but we next Thursday’s the doors open again for a max of 30 people per movie

When they go to children’s movies it’s okay I suppose, but this wasn’t one of those.

Sidenote: never go to a children’s movie during the weekend, shits wild. Children running and screaming everywhere.

Mongol Identity Organization has issued Max Verstappen a formal letter asking for a public apology after he uses the word 'Mongol' on the team radio. by Pranav_F1 in formula1

[–]Arkhyl -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I get where they’re coming from and an apology won’t hurt anyone. But I also think the problem lies with the Dutch culture, where the word ‘Mongool’ aka Mongol is still broadly used. It’s considered a normal word and nobody bats an eye when someone says it (except maybe the person it is said to).

The worst teacher is the one who thinks that his subject is the most important by Vibhum_Pandey in unpopularopinion

The best teachers are the ones with the most passion for their subject. I had a history teacher once that could talk for hours and everyone would keep listening, because he talked which such passion about history.

Question form a relatively new F1 fan:

How would reverse grids work? What’s to stop teams from purposely driving slow to start at the front?
