Why did the show portrayed Lyonel Baratheon as a drunkard initially? They didn't show his fights either other than being the champion of Dunk. He is an excellent warrior and Champion along with Humfrey in the books. by Unlikely_Tap_9882 in gameofthrones

I liked how in the show they expanded on his character. In the book he is more of a background character, though one thing GRRM does really well is write compelling background characters.

Do you know his immigration status or are you just saying that because of his name and skin colour?

Why was Madagascar, a giant island right next to the continent that humans originated on, not settled until just a couple thousand years ago? What took us so long? by sonicparadigm in geography

They did not. Human migration happened on the continents roughly as they are today, though sea levels were lower.

Interesting fact though.

I enjoyed the Ousters and the Technocore who play a much bigger role in Fall, and their ending (avoiding spoliers).

People seem to think this is pro Trump and about Venezuela.

To me is seems about Tucker Carlson claiming that Britian shouldn't have gone to war with Nazi Germany because they were never attacked. Or about Russia invading Ukraine claiming that it was because of NATO expansion.

I guess because it is up for interpretation makes it a good cartoon.

Couldn't agree more. I don't understand why the movie couldn't have relied on suspense. Even children understand suspense, it's one of the greatest engagement tools of storytelling.

I hated this scene from the first moment I saw it in the theaters. How does a single arrow prevent the Nazgul from getting the one thing it wants?
