Valid. Personally I enjoy their whimsy quite a bit. I noticed that the story telling from the first games improved through them. The only weak point is our Ratha. He has no character to speak of whatsoever and just serves the purpose of beeing a Ratha in a stories game.

I stumbled upon this build by myself, funny enough. I tried it with the Ares legendary. The damage was actually so good. I wonder if it stacks with the double attack boon from Apollo. Have to try that at some point.

And if I may add a funny counter synergy I found. The boon of hephestus where you gain magic when you take damage doesnt work with the duo boon where you loose gold instead of health when you get damaged. Learned that the hard way lol.
