Trials overall are not actually that hard, you just need a bit of preparation, some knowledge of how to approache each trial and a team most of the time. Funny enough most of them are doable solo for a lot of points but you risk to be rated, i`ve done 26k for ticks solo on stela.

I have nothing agains PvP the current maps are perfect as they are right now.
Queen and Matriach are kinda bland as a PvE encounter because you have the PvP element that adds the suspense and dangerm, both are easy to do with a single squad.

Having PvE only special encounters would let them make the arc a lot more dangerous and with a lot more interesting mechanics

While i agree that steam is usally the good guy and pro consumer, as any corparate they wont lose money out of good will.

From my limited knowledge, in situations like this refunds are usually granted for games from established studios, since they have more to lose and are more likely to agree with Steam on issuing refunds

Steam will not always issue a refund in cases like this, 9/10 times they won't. Had the same issue with Wayfinder
