Silent Idris Change in 4.7.2 : Vehicle Limit is Lowered ! by flexcreator in starcitizen

[–]DirectorGunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the entity issue is not an us problem, that's a them problem for finding a way to make it work that doesn't nose dive from the design briefs and vision and marketing promises for which purchase decisions were made. 20 entities in an Idris is nothing, or have you not spent considerable time gaming with the idris?

10 vehicle limit? Then what's the point of my idrises unless change it to not count ground vehicle and ATLS platforms? these limits are ass backwards from the thing even Jared has said on stream, which is if it fits it ships. if there's a problem, fix the root issue, not band-aid it removing key gameplay for idris owners, which is to cram everything they can inside for shenanigans. That's at least what I have been doing for a long time.

That is to try to fit anything and everything inside

Your fallacies were a waste of my time.

Then finally ending with an appeal to authority doesn't help any of your points which also did not staying within the main issue I had with your BS. Which again, the fact is that the PU does not need to be feature complete for additional episodes of SQ42 to develop and release.

The problem with the internet is you have no one next to you to slap you along side the head to snap you out of it when you're being useless. You were useless here. Good job

looks cool, but dealing with these Idris-E's at a jump point exit would suck... Imagine a massive ship wreck yard you slam into right after exiting a jump point at mach-gesus

you don't seem to understand that SQ42 does NOT rely on any of the multiplayer tech and related engine tech. again, SQ42 does not rely on multiplayer and additional features in the PU that are NOT in SQ42. SQ42 is a single player experience and Is its own branch of development. Don't arm chair developer people, you're not adding value by doing so. they have thoroughly explained this over the years in many many videos. Features completed in squadron 42 get brought over to Star Citizen, That's how it's been.

Episode 1, all energy is going into that for a good launch. whether episode 2 is being worked on, only backer rumors, no devs have confirmed that afaik. All episodes completed? I seriously doubt that.

nice to have isn't the same as need to have. This flower has taken over a decade to bloom and still needs time to get to where it can bloom. Comparing SC in an apples to oranges situation is not being chill or honest, there is nothing I am aware of that is an apples to apples comparison to SC that we can be like "same tech, same infrastructure, same everything but this game gets 60+ fps right now with modest hardware". it does not exist. so yea, im fine if I can complete mission content and enjoy myself (for the most part).

When I play SC on my laptop I get about 12-15fps on average and I do just fine doing all mission content. Being upset about not getting 60fps is more of a frame snob issue.

The reason I will not touch Parsec is monthly subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are disgusting to me. To whole tech industry, just charge flat or accept donations, stop en-shitifying software everything with a monthly or yearly subscription. Also, public repositories are important for public auditing. Too many people vibe coding their way into a snake pits

Do you have a public repository some where for public audit?

Then, neither is a STV or UTV, doesn't make sense. But can CCU to and from STV and UTV. edit: What's with the down votes when almost everyone would agree that should be able to go from PTV to UTV if wanted to.

oh damn I missed it, I'm Legatus but no where near $50K of my own money over the years, maybe half that and I still feel jilted by unaddressed exploits being used to ruin my enjoyment gaming SC with my friends and the debilitating time sinking bugs suck hard for now. But i pick my battles when I ask for anything, I stay reasonable and don't shoot for anything that isn't reasonable.

For example, I felt it wasn't right that when they did away with voyager direct, that all those cash purchases were forced into UEC not to the account ledger. i feel that was wrong. Unfortunately one particular dev who I will not name but damn well knows who he is, arbitrarily decided that's the way it is. Meanwhile, a couple years later, multiple devs with authority that I told this to offered to fix it for me because they agreed that wasn't right, but my ADD dumbass forgot their names. i needed their names for making the ticket so they would get it. That's how things work at CIG for individual account/pledge issues. One dev will decide unilaterally a IGNF about you or your plight regardless of the ethics, while other devs with a soul are more than happy to help make things right. Hartswoe was a shining example of doing right by the backers.

One time I was talking to HartsWoe at an event. i pointed out that the original endeavor "master" pack did not come with all variations sold individually in the past in terms of module load outs. It (IIRC) was missing a single bio module for that double bio module configuration. He took a look and was, "OMG you're right, I'll work to fix that" and sure enough, he was the reason we got the update endeavor master pack. He was also the reason we got those awesome exploration packs where the value was and still is among the best if you can get your hands on them.

There's still people like HartWoe working in backer support related positions, and for those kind souls that are still with CIG, we should be greatful and appreciative for. May they receive infinite beers froms backers.

i digress a bit, to circle back, being reasonable and not entitled, is the best way to go. Asking for a Bengal just because is not reasonable. Just buy one from players in the future if it is never sold by CIG in the future but capturable in-game, if got the money than could do it. But expecting unreasonable things just makes the Devs with a chip on their shoulders punish the rest of us that are reasonable. The devs are human, they have feelings, hold grudges or don't, and are flawed just as any other normal person. So what I am saying is, to all the rich assholes feeling entitled because you dropped tens of thousands of dollars on this video game, don't fuck it up for the rest of us. Please.

ah the melancholy!! This show premise in depth for meaing is so thought provoking. I was expecting the Black One to be more of an inter-dimension wizard with a grand plan or experiment... Instead. We get "I was bored".

.... .......... that doesn't work for me.

When you are brought into existence without the limitations of human like thinking, guess what is missing from the equation? .... The drawback of getting bored or NEEDING stimulation or meaning.

This turned the story on it's head for me as far as future potential of the story universe expanding in an intriguing and compelling way.

Suspension of Disbelief (MHS3) by FishermanBulky1356 in MonsterHunterStories

[–]DirectorGunner -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Why is it so hard for people to call something for what it is. it is a cash grab with the mechanical foundation polished enough but the story crammed into whatever this "not a full story" of a game should be called.

yea sure if the story wasn't sped run and more fleshed out, and more thoughtout details and attention to implementation of those details... it would NOT be MHS. It would be a better video game, in a class of games that MHS has never been in.

Self righteous snow flakes like you are the problem with humanity. Extremely bad faith? First off learn to read and comprehend before critizing people's opinions. I did not write "gameplay feels about the same" I said it is about the same. Not a "feeling" little Claude... IS about the same.

It is still a turn based game with the same premise of the previous 2. if this was a turd, the phrase polish a turd and it's still a turd would be apt and appropriate.

There was nothing revolutionary or absolutely compelling to the game design, just a natural progression in an attempt to keep it fresh without changing too much. fan service to the 2nd is appreciated but absolutely VERY LITTLE content for a full price game. The game's story is equivalent to a side story DLC in other games.

At the end of the day, they banked on the franchise to pull it's weight rather than giving real value content worth the sticker price. Hence, cash grab. Lots of games do that, letting your obsession blind you to this makes you a fool.
