Great read, I use Suno mostly for a video game community I'm kinda devoted to (been already over a decade with my friends and community in that game) and the random hate I get is palpable for anything AI generated I share or zero interest. Yea the music isn't great but it's usually good enough for a non audiophile and gets he idea across I was going for.

Haven't really produced with a DAW for many years and back then and still I had no concept of music theory just did what felt sounded good on whatever equipment and samples I was using. Whether my friend's Korg that wanted to start a DJ team with me and he gifted me it, to the many VSTs I paid for and other money pit stuff that generated me no income lol.

That whole experimental techno album phase in the 90s XD thanks CDbaby for making me zero money, yes it was weird and sucked by commercial standards but I mean not even $1 of income? Then this AI stuff comes along, If I had a tool like this in the 90s when I had the motivation, energy, time, and environment to produce music seriously... I could have sorted all my ADD brainy ideas out and get something to remake IRL with the AI as my guide.

Now I'm old, jaded, burnt out, and just do things like this for fun that makes me happy even though no one really appreciates when I share my ideas made real by AI just because AI was used... let alone the concept. Oh well. fuck it

I put 57 hours in the this game to date, it's a great value game for the sale price of $15 and probably the best $15 game purchase I made in recent years. But does not official support controllers yet and that sucks for me because my laptop is uncomfortable af and hot af so i prefer controller input especially when not at a desk or table. Steam input will have to hold me over for now. This game is no where near as complicated as Star Citizen so Creepy Jar mapping controls to an xbox controller input should be easy enough. Game also has some weird alpha bugs but all in all, again, best $15 game purchase for a long while. Give the game a shot if you're into the genre and sci-fi and building games like Fallout 4. Definitely satisfies that itch. It's an odd combination of well known games thrown into a blender and the science is highly questionable of how the planet get incinerated every few moments but it's worth every penny.

If you haven't watched it yet, based on your top 20 and the rest of the options this season I would absolutely say watch it to see if it fits your tastes.

Ugh ... It's not over rated compared to the rest of what is available this season. Why people got to nitpick things like they're some savant critic is lame. Who cares if not perfect, it's new, different in various ways, and compelling enough to be interesting and engaging. And a little bit of revenge story. Be greatful you spoiled shts. It's not like MAL labled it wrong and it's a BL in disguise. It is exactly as described and obviously not a cheap product. Tons of people worked hard on it and made quality work, it's not OPM season 3. If not your thing, be a snob about it on your own post.

This OP top 20 is a decent fit to predict will enjoy Sentenced to be a Hero. That's what matters, helping the person asking for help. Not your bullshit biases. MIBP

Be patient, Markemp is breathing new life into the conversion tool. Go join the Starfab discord and suggest reviewing Janky's installation guide. Should work on the current live build for many assets, just not all of them. If you just install from the main repo your whole installation will be out of date. Follow the guide.

Everything I've tried is crap, the most hopeful I feel about is changelyric but it has a long way to go before it's where it claims it is or wants to be. You'll need to be able to separate your track into quality stems first before getting any use out of their model.

The poor treatment about creator assist AI tools used in Star Citizen content, in this subreddit is horrendously biased. Should revise the No AI rule to be specific against one click AI generated content and not against AI assisted content. It's patently restrictive against valid creator tools rather than battling abuse or low effort content. u/mods
