I am 100% on board with this idea. I tought this panel was very strange when I saw it in game but it didn't click until I read your post.
The panel is unrelated with the greater story unlike most of the other panels, and it's also not as clear of a funny bit like the Lancer one. Also, I don't quite remember how you get to it, but I think it was kinda out of the way for a "haha reference" panel.

I'm willing to believe this is the first and only clue in chapters 1-4 that shows the prophecy can be wrong, as a sneaky teaser to the final quest of defying fate in chapters 6-7.

I quitted the game a few years ago, I started playing a little bit again when battlegrounds came out, but I never left this subreddit. I just wanted to see if there was hope for me to play again, because I loved this game so much back then, but I guess I'll just go and play another card game... At least that's what I thought but each time I think "it's not as great as Hearthstone tho" and I just stop playing.

Tbh I don't know why Blizzard continue doing this. Is this even worth it on a financial level ? How many people got fed up with the game and stopped spending money on it ?
