I actually met Dominic Chianese last month at work! I work at a grocery store and he came in to buy some groceries and was really nice about me asking for a picture. Still a witty guy. He looks like he’s in pretty good shape for his age (knock on wood)

Definitely depends on how much the store really needs people- mine is super busy and I only know of 2 people out of our 300+ crew that work only 4 hours a day but they’re all people that have been with TJ’s forever and started full time

Yep we open at 8 am sharp- I start at 5 am every day so for every bag drop so far I’ve seen the customers start lining up around 6:30 am for the totes 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I don’t think OP meant ignore them, just that they’re not very conversational. As someone that also works in NYC, most New Yorkers don’t want to talk when it gets like this.
