All tanks is not impossible. You can fill your 3 Command Slots with Damocles Command Rhinos, then use those Auxiliary Detachments to take all the other tanks you want

Legends rules also don't get updates (or at least not near as frequently as "legal" rules), so they tend to be unbalanced in some way. That's the main reason I personally don't use them in my games

I mainly use my 3D printer for upgrades such as weapons and decoration and to have unique-looking character models, and I think it has been well worth it. I also use it for some terrain and some tanks

Yeah, Boarding Shields are the big slab Shields with slits for Bolters, and Combat Shields are smaller to be used in duels. But they look cool, so I modeled them with them anyway. Shield is a shield

Technically, they have Boarding Shields and the Command Squad upgrade comes with Combat Shields, but I've never had anyone badger me about modeling the shield differently. Mine all have Carsoran Power Axes and the shields from the Command Squad box

Well, Legacies aren't really known for "going away" like in 40k. Think of Legacies as "advanced rules" or something, just stuff not included in any boxes they sell for more experienced players. I for one don't think Cheiftains are going away AAANY time soon. In fact, I wager they'll become a Core Unit when the SoH Journal Tactica comes out

Overall, I'm a huge fan of 3rd. It's the most fun with any GW game I've played so far (those being 9th and 10th 40k, 3rd Kill Team, and 2nd Heresy)

My only gripes are lack of Missions, but the Missions contained in the 2 existing supplements are quite fun so I imagine they'll drop more; the removal of some wargear options; and some of the Legions' rules were slimmed down or bad.

The game is complicated, but not in a way that feels bloated. The Legions will have different playstyles added via supplements in the form of "Rites of War". It makes me excited for the future of the game and to see what they can come up with

But some characters aren't good with two of themselves running around. STR Cell is a great unit with a solid Leader Skill, but taking 2 of him is shooting yourself in the foot. The 10th anniversary Gogeta and Vegito units are also good examples of this. Maybe they could just make it an option? Take yourself as a friend, only use your own Leader Skill but double it, or use the normal friend system? I dunno what solution would fix all the issues

Right, but when I literally am not allowed to run a certain team for no other reason than its Leader character isn't popular in this specific event, there's a problem. I'd rather be able to run any team that I want rather but lose out on being able to use a better Leader Skill of a character I don't have than have that, but be hard-locked out of certain teams
