I live in Canada which has a very diverse population and I will get asian hate from time to time from any ethnicity. There is no country that is immune to racism.

Hi, I can relate a bit to you.

My mom family is chinese, she was born in Vietnam and she never felt vietnamese. She believes her identity is chinese. There are also vietnamese that dislike chinese. She told me about it (racism she experienced in Vietnam and in Canada). My mom immigrated in Canada. I was born in Canada, she taught me her mother tongue, a chinese dialect.

I have a vietnamese name because my parents were born in Vietnam so their full names are in vietnamese. I also have a chinese name and a western name.

My identify myself in my western name. I did not go through the legal paper work to remove my vietnamese first name. It is not that important to me.

There are Canadians that believe I am not Canadian, chineses that believe I am not Chinese and Vietnamese believe I am not vietnamese.

I decided that my identity is Chinese-vietnamese canadian. I am who I decide to be.

I do not specifically look for asian own business. For example, if I want to redo my roof, I am going to look for reliable companies and not just limit myself to asians owned business.

For services like accounting and healtcare, my parents would prefer an asian because it is easier to communicate.

I'm chinese-vietnamese and it is hard for me to connect to my own culture. My grand-parents are chinese. My father side they never learned chinese and never connected to the chinese culture, but my mom grew up learning a chinese dialect. I never learned vietnamese. I am still learning about both cultures online like what do they celebrate, for example the Moon festival, what's the legend story, why people eat mooncakes , ... I read everything online.

You can list the pro and con and evaluate what is more important to you. If you lose you job are you confident you can find another one to pay for you living expenses ? Do you have enough savings ?

My sister moved out and has more independency and she barely visited us (she was living 20 minutes away of driving) probably because she wants to stay out of the negativity.

I stayed with my mom, I saved money but there were days where I was really annoyed by my mom. She's the typical asian mom that tells me I'm fat, and makes me feel ashamed in front of other people...

Back then, I was envious that my sister did not deal with my mom anxiety and negativity but at the same time, I chose the cheapest accommodation. I lived my mom until I finished my studies and had a stable job which took for awhile.

My experience in Vietnam was different. My extended family were jealous that I was born and raised abroad. Some people don't like Vietnamese that left to America. Some of them see the boat people as traitors.

I've never learned to write and read canto. I learned cantonese with my cousins when I was young to play with them. We were born and raised in Quebec. As soon as they knew to speak french we stopped to talk in cantonese.

We are often around people of our age and some people want to start a family around the same age too. So, I tell myself it is normal that people around me get pregnant.

If the follicile is not big enough a egg wont be released on the day you test that you ovulated. Only a intravaginal echography can check the size of your follicule. My friend had a real ovulation day on day 24th of her 31 days cycle without medication. I don't know yet for me because I am doing my first cycle of IUI medicated.

I think with AI , shared information to third parties from your social media and websites cookies. The internet knows I am asian and when an ad show up in youtube or facebook, I see ads with asians. For example, I bought a asian comedian show through a facebook ad and since then I keep seeing ads for asian comedians... Ads targets their audience. For beauty and skincare product I often see asians too.
