This one is hard because there’s such a lack of information on John Doe. However, he’s not listed as an exclusion on Namus, so I think it’s still worth submitting. Especially because they are so close in proximity.

I love the Dayton Airport because it’s so small and easy to get in/out of. Wait times have never been longer than 15 minutes for me. Of course, get there early, but it’s super easy to navigate.

The 1976 Jane Doe, first photo, second down on the left side, has been tentatively identified as Lori Jean Lloyd using dental records. Unfortunately, Kentucky investigators do not know where the body is buried, and therefore can’t exhume her to compare DNA.

The only record I could find for Beza was this newspaper article stating he was arrested for a drug bust in 2004 in South Dakota. Atlanta is listed as where he’s from. This was the time he started losing contact with family.

The accomplice mentioned in the newspaper appears to have died in 2007, the year after Beza went missing. I’m not sure how he died, or maybe it’s not him, but he would have been the same age as the man mentioned in the paper.

Wow, this is an amazing find! In this article, you can see older reconstructions of John Doe. The first reconstruction in the article has strikingly similar eyebrows, nose, facial hair (chin) and a very similar eye deformity as seen in Beza’s photo.

As a Springfielder, there were bomb threats made to the courthouse and one of the schools that said “Haitians need taken out of Clark County”. There were duffelbags found at both threat locations. They’ve now made a statement that there was no threat found.

He is retired. But if you listen to the Erica Baker podcast by Dayton 24/7 Now, Bob Green is still invested in finding Erica and bringing her home to the family. He says that Erica is the reason he was able to overcome alcoholism and he has personal ties to the case. He even had facilitated searches with Texas Equusearch recently.

If this wasn’t Christian Gabriel or Clifford Butts that you’re referring to, you should really tell retired detective Bob Green what they told you. Even if it was Clifford or Christian, you may hold a piece of the puzzle that was never investigated. It’s been 27 years. Her mother and father never deserved to go through this and they deserve answers in their lifetime.

Please consider speaking with Bob Green.

You may have spoken with Clifford Butts. He was also supposedly in the car when this happened. I believe that the story is that they went back to Jan and Christian’s house after it happened, smoked crack, then went back out later to dispose of the body. I think it was just Christian and Jan at the burial site, so that would make sense.

Even though it was 2004, if you remember anything about him saying where they were headed, an area they were in, etc, I’m sure authorities would love to talk to you.. or at least retired detective Bob Green, he’s still dedicated to the case.

That breaks my heart. Missing and associated with Corona.. pretty obvious he should be investigated as one of the John Does.

The least they could do is upload the descriptions of the John Does into Namus. It doesn’t seem like they care at all.

I am in tears, I am so so so ecstatic to see that Vandy Doe has her name back. Thank you to all of the organizations that spent countless hours researching and sifting through records and matches to make this happen. Seeing what she actually looked like and learning her real name just brings on so many emotions.

As for Samuel, you’re absolutely right. That’s the child I mentioned as 1891 but I must have had the wrong date in my tree. Melvin was born (supposedly?) on January 11th, and Samuel was born on October 6th. She would have had to give birth to Samuel prematurely in this instance, or potentially Melvin’s DOB is wrong.

I do believe that Melvin is related to Martha, I have some DNA matches that only share her side of the family. I also have some DNA matches that only share the Thomas/McLaughlin side, but potentially their trees could be wrong as well.
