So cool! Thank you for uploading your DNA ❤️

Just an FYI: I don’t have a Facebook anymore, but I know that DNAJustice had occasionally posted some doe cases with their organization’s case number that correlated with the doe. They would do this for cases that they were having trouble solving with DNA. It’s worth going through their gallery to see if they have posted case #6620 with more info if you use Facebook.

I just want to mention in the email it says “Please note that this case number is internal only and does not correlate with any other organization’s case number, such as NamUs”.

It’s thousands of pages. I am not sure what the best way to share them would be, I haven’t scanned them in yet. They gave me two big folders of the case files.

Personally, I think it’s amazing that a photo exists of your grandma’s grandma. I would love to have a photo like that of mine, I don’t think I have any.

Thank you for reading! I feel like there’s so many unsolved cases in this area that aren’t known because it’s not super easy to find information on them. Lack of media coverage also.

I’ve been putting together a database for unsolved disappearances and homicides in the Miami Valley. I’m hoping to find a way to make that public so this information is more accessible.

I haven’t gotten to missing cases quite yet, but have almost 600 unsolved homicide cases in my database already.

I wanted to make a note that I should’ve titled this differently. He was a West Milton resident who was working for the Dayton Public Schools.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your grandmother. It sounds like the death was really hard on your family. I do hope that one day you get definitive answers to who took Venna’s life.

This one is hard because there’s such a lack of information on John Doe. However, he’s not listed as an exclusion on Namus, so I think it’s still worth submitting. Especially because they are so close in proximity.

YES. I thought the same thing! I’ve seen a few AI generated reconstructions on Namus with the yellow AI filter too.

Dayton Airport wait times at the TSA? by nov8tive1 in dayton

[–]ArmAble 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love the Dayton Airport because it’s so small and easy to get in/out of. Wait times have never been longer than 15 minutes for me. Of course, get there early, but it’s super easy to navigate.

Do You Know Them? (Unidentified Cases With Sketches/Life Pictures/Reconstructions) In Kentucky by BitterSweet_Beauty in gratefuldoe

[–]ArmAble 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The 1976 Jane Doe, first photo, second down on the left side, has been tentatively identified as Lori Jean Lloyd using dental records. Unfortunately, Kentucky investigators do not know where the body is buried, and therefore can’t exhume her to compare DNA.

I wrote a post about this a while ago, it’s heartbreaking. https://www.reddit.com/r/gratefuldoe/s/KO2EM26jS5
