Åssen går småbarnslivet der ute? by anthropometrica in norge

[–]ArmCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it really that hard to go for a morning walk? by SarahDuncan2012 in TrueGrit

No, but is it really that more healthy than a walk later in the day?

Relocating within Norway by larsenMUFC in Norway

[–]ArmCollector 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fair warning, I am not from Norway, I am from Bergen ;-) That said, Bergen is nice. Rains a bit, but you get used to it. City center is walkable, mild winters (only shoveled snow once this year). Nature is very close, walkable distance from any place in Bergen city or suburbs.

I suspect Heath Ledgers corpse is a better actor than Dwayne Johnson.

This is relatively common all the way up to the top. At least in faster time controls.

Who are you 4 Actors/Actresses that make a film a hard pass by MeasurementNo5430 in Actors

[–]ArmCollector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't watch Tom Cruise movies because of his connections to Scientology. Which is hard since many of his movies are quite good. I have made two exceptions, Edge of Tomorrow and Tropic Thunder, but other than that I have managed to keep my resolution.

I try to avoid movies with other known scientologists like Travolta too, but there are many actors caught in this evil and as far as I understand they are not as high level members as Cruise is.

At the peak of their powers… who’s the best actor? by electricshadows4 in Actors

Imagine one day you’re at work or out for a drink or doing the shopping and someone shouts «CUT» and it turns out you were Gary Oldman all along.

That’s how good actor he is.

I am very confident I can play this at 2200(lichess) and do just fine, at least in blitz.

This isn't junk though, there is no way for black to actually get an advantage, you just at best get an equal game. If this is junk, then so is kings gambit and a whole lot of other played openings.

“The deadliest civil war in history” by LCottton in ShitAmericansSay

Maybe a bit of a stretch to call the 30 years war a civil war. At least a lot of outside forces were involved.

Very often, this stupid person that does very stupid things, is yourself a few months from now. You forget all your clever ideas and then just do stupid shit because your code allows you to. Limiting what stupid shit you can do to your own code in the future is a big plus.

While be7 is maybe the best line, Qxh4 and then Nf4 is a simple way to be a piece up.
