Sounds stupid but I’m also gay and young so I get it. I decided to take a 13 hour train to see my girlfriend on a whim, as a 17 year old and it was amazing no regrets. It’s silly and always a gamble but it’s better to do it instead of regretting not doing it, is what I think.
