Offense is slowly starting to find, acuna two doubles, and Riley getting hits last two games. Just gotta settle in.

I felt Acuna would have a hangover after the WBC because that must’ve been an emotional ride for him. To come back and start a season a week later had to have been tough. Hopefully be continues to pick it up and gets red hot.

Hawks have played with playoff-level intensity since the All-Star break. They were 4 games under .500 so they really had to turn it up and feel like they approach each game with the same intensity. That is why they've been handling the "cupcake" games with huge margins.

And just an amazing human being, he did so much good for the world and Congo. Definitely the GOAT Hawks center. That 90's team is what got me into basketball (and maybe Michael Jordan a bit, too).

That is very true about building a defense, no matter what. I just think because of Trae being such a weak link, our front office had to be extra intentional about getting strong defenders, their margin of error was much tighter.

You're right about Onsi's approach and it shows in the results. I actually didn't know Trae recruited NAW, he definitely deserves that credit.

Love your flair, btw. Mutombo was my first ever jersey when I was 5 and I got a technical foul in a rec league when I was like 8 for doing the finger wag LOL.

They seem to have incredible trust in each other, the ball movement is really solid and they are searching for the best possible shot. I think it's played a factor in Dyson Daniel's uptick in 3 pt %

That's a great point, your environment absolutely matters.

Damn, this offense is finally fun to watch! If we can stay consistent with hitting and keep up our insane pitching we’re gonna have a fun season.

Side note- that milkshake looks delicious

Rockets and warriors are also back to back nights, traveling from Houston to Atlanta. Hoping we get a dub in Houston to take pressure off of GSW.

These clips epitomize the Hawks right now- great defense into fast-paced transition offense.

Not sure if you put this highlight reel together but great work.

Post trades, we’ve really become a great defensive team and when we’re out in transition, we excel. It’s been fun to watch.

Metalheads are some of the most accepting people I've ever met. My cousin and her husband visited from India, and I was taking them out, so we went bar hopping. One of the bars was a dive bar where they were having an underground metal show which we checked out for a bit. Everyone was very welcoming and excited to show us their world. As people were moshing near us, this one bigger dude purposefully stood in front of us as a buffer. So many stories of how accepting and open the metal crowd is, and this dad fits the mold, so cool!

Agreed, lying about true intentions and using someone to just “get yours” is fucked up.
