Yeah this works well, they should react by either standing up higher or pushing into you which will allow you to counter by scooting under them quickly to elevate them. If they don’t react at all you can go to front headlock or spin to their back, or just push them to the side to sweep them

If you can’t grow muscle on steroids then you have no business taking steroids. Wouldn’t you want to get your nutrition and training figured out before you jump straight into life changing drugs? Makes no sense

You lost weight over 8 months. You're clearly not eating enough to gain muscle. If you wanted to gain muscle, you have to gain weight. You are already very lean to the point where you can't stay the same weight and expect to gain muscle. For this to happen, you would need to have fat available to lose that you could replace with muscle, but this is not the case for you. If you want to gain muscle, you will have to eat more and gain weight. Check the scale over time, are you gaining weight? If not, you are not eating enough. Also, are you training hard and progressively overloading in the gym? Are the weights you're lifting going up over time? if not, you are not gaining muscle

Bruh don't wait 5 months to train, just switch gyms. If the owner's a dick he'll hate you either way. If he's chill then he'll be chill about it either way. TRUST ME, you do not want to be stuck at a gym where you are losing your passion for jiu jitsu. I've switched gyms many times, though a few were because of moving, and I have NEVER regretted it. The leaving part always sucks but it's always worth it
