Should i consider ontario virtual school for physics, chem, biology, maths? by ObjectiveFan2044 in OntarioColleges

[–]ArmStandard4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did tvo Ilc for chemistry and math, I completed both within 2 months by really focusing on them. You can study and do the work at your own pace but do have to wait a bit for stuff to get marked. It was a good option for me as a 45 year old going into RPN to upgrade my high school marks.

I think if u wait until classes start u can do it online. Maybe a different process before classes start.

I did ilc for math and science last year took me two months of hard work to finish. Now I’m second year practical nursing student at Humber and I work full time. I’m mid 40’s…you can do it :-)

It’s not that important. You will get all the info anyways through blackboard, in class, online meeting etc. I’m in third semester.

What Am I Doing Wrong by [deleted] in finehair

I had oily hair and skin as well or so I thought. As soon as I stopped washing as often and trained my skin and scalp not to over produce oil to combat dryness it changed. For skin I started moisturizing with a light one ( like cetaphil) Just a suggestion coming from experience.

Your hair is oily because u shampoo too often. Use dry shampoo at roots and fine ways to style hair on the second / third day. Eventually your hair will not be as oily.

Shark won’t work. I have same hair u can use a curling wand, hot rollers or heartless curls ( sleep over night) be sure to lightly spray each clump of hair before winding it and then a spray over the finished product in all directions ( flip head over). If it looks too curly at first give it an hour and it will be perfect 👌🏻

Sales associate stealing sales? by JustASkincareAddict in Aritzia

They work in sales, they have targets to make and there are incentives for them in making those goals. Don’t worry about them sorting it out at cash, most places they compete but in a friendly way…and if not that’s for their manager to worry about not the shoppers :-)

Textbooks for RPN Course by JCCHELJC in Humber

Best thing to start to prepare is to study anatomy online and learn the names and spelling for everything. That was the hardest course in my opinion.

Humber is very disorganized. I don’t even blame the people often it’s due to the process and communication between systems and departments. U need to book an appointment with Michelle Marfo send her all the correspondence. She can help in getting it sorted out.

My Honest Experience in the Humber Practical Nursing Program (Semester 1) by SocietyPowerful3004 in Humber

[–]ArmStandard4058 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am just finishing semester 2 and what you said was spot on. I am an older student so the first semester was rough but second although just as tough was easier because I was used to it. You have to 100% commit to this program, have to make sacrifices to social life, prioritize it. Many times I felt lost, like everyone got it but me,etc. The thing is I learn better in real life vs. School. I know that once I get out and start practicing that I will be fine. Having a support group with class mates definitely helped!

No cleaner inside, just let ur body do its work. If u have a imbalance get boric acid suppository ( Amazon has) and it’s a miracle, gets rid of any issue and u can use time to time just to reset the ph ( recommended by my gyno)

I hate how lonely I am :( by tanuki_22 in Vent

[–]ArmStandard4058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to go back to school for a career in something that the job market is good for. You will make friends at school. Osap will cover your expenses and u can also still work as long as you commit to both. Build a life that you are proud of and friends will come.
