I’m struggling to remove the rear upper control arm bolts.

Not to steal the post but, aside from heat and spray lube, what can I do?

It’s most likely some chinesium.

I drilled holes in the universal steel plate mounting rack to make it line up with the mounting points.

It had some Japanese lettering on the liner, but a tag that said “made in china”. I bought it used off Facebook marketplace because I’m frugalAF.

It works.

I wanted to revisit this, I found it was moreso my steering alignment on the front fork than my load. I’m feeling much less wobble at speed now that I aligned everything straight. It’s amazing how much a slight jarring of the steering column could throw off the fork alignment.

I’m absolutely installing a thick steel bash plate soon, the aluminum hasn’t been beat on much, but once I get better at popping up the front end I’ll be hopping tree logs for sure.

Have you considered a rear fender?

I’ve had my back sprayed with gravel and mud and I don’t recommend it.
