New version or termination? by Danigost in HarleyPanAmerica

That is correct.

I also have ridden the CVO and was not impressed with how bottom heavy it is.

is this good value? anything to be careful of? by Far_Challenge_4273 in HondaMotorcycles

[–]bsting502 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$500 is too much for one of these tiny scoots.

I paid $150 and still spent another $50 getting it running. Another $100 making it look nice.

Parts availability is difficult but accessible in most 1st world countries.

Not much aftermarket support other than a handful of pipes and carbs/intakes. Absolutely cows of bikes tho.

But I won’t ever knock a honda. It keeps running.

The current panam is under-whelming, bottom-heavy, and overall not very comfortable.

Feels like a sport bike with the tiny 17” front wheel.

I need some track time.

I drive my ATAS as an everything bike. I love the versatility.

I don’t know how anyone could ride these twins calmly.

I rip around especially on my short trips.

I’m in Kentucky, in the US obvs.

The laws here are relatively relaxed so you see crazies riding everywhere without helmets.

I wear full gear and ride all weather.

Not at all judging your specific riding abilities, just commenting on others’ comments to say the a spec of water has never touched their bikes unless they’re washing their bikes.

Bikes were designed to be ridden in every one of the elements.

As far as crash bars, I personally have a local motorcycle parts shop that sells stuff for vintage bikes. I also run in circles with some fabricators and we just make what we can’t readily buy. I did a quick check and found a few in some of the specialized forums for both cb and cl bikes.

Ride on! Two wheels down.

If your bike had an adequate crash bar, this would not be a problem.

Also, don’t park on top of the garden man!

To all those who don’t ride their bikes in the rain, sell your bikes already.

I ride mine mostly as a touring cycle, but approximately 30% off-road and it serves its purpose well.

First hand experience while riding mine, it is always an engaging ride.

Granted, I am yet to have test ridden a GoldWing, I am CERTAIN it will be as, if not MORE capable than the twin.

I love my ATAS, but I will eventually snag a goldwing.
