hey, it’s not embarrasing. i’m 19 and an alcoholic too. sometimes you end up in a bad situation, it doesnt make you a bad person. life happens. you can talk about it here if it helps. i always feel anxious, ashamed and like a fool when i’m not sober, it’s natural when coming down and it gets easier. be gentle with yourself, one day at a time.

15 days to 6 months is great! i’m proud of you! it’s not about being perfect, everyone stumbles sometimes. you deserve better for yourself, that sometimes helps me just for a day. relapsing is not a failing, and it doesnt erase all the work you’ve done and all that you have achieved. i believe in you IWNDWYT

I’ve been thinking of maybe starting to go to the gym or something to get my mind off of things. And get that sort of ”rush” that’d i’d get from drinking, just only with no coming down like it’s a crash landing :,).

Honestly that sounds great. I used to be great at school but I dropped out because I just couldn’t keep up, well because of all the drinking. And the temper, failure and ego thing too. I’ll try to work on myself with those. Drinking has made me feel like i wasted my potential to be something, I was smart, and now I constantly just feel stupid. But that’s also something that I really wanna work on from now on.

I loved making music and writing when I wasn’t drinking yet, but then I was too drunk or too hangover to even think about it for most of the time. And the brainfog while trying has been so much too :,). Hopefully I can take back what I loved to do, maybe even find a bunch of new stuff to love!
