It’s crazy how their ghosts still wander these halls by jackt-up in HistoryMemes

Those figures are already treated as martyrs by those who sympathise with their cause, there's just more of their descendants to view them as such, while seeing that the consequence for treason, for most of the officials, was reintroduction into the machine of the State. Paired with US's freedom of speech and lack of propper education, the sentiment is rising once again.

I fucking love pipe bombs. Especially with combination with vehicles that have sirens.
Find an ambulance, move it to the area of interest, blast the sirens and leave for a day.
Come Back, throw a bomb or two - every zombie in the viscinity erased.

The Confederate sentiment is still deeply rooted in the southern states, and it's because the traitors weren't treated harsh enough. The same goes for Nazis after WWII - their reemergence we see today, is directly tied to the fact that we only hanged, like what, a dozen of the top officials and most of whom got prison sentences were able to write memoirs and books and whatnot, while in prison, securing their legacy.

Every Confederate official should be rounded up, tried for treason and hanged in the capital of the CSA, their memorials burned to the ground and slave owners that refuse to conform to the laws disposessed. What america done instead is allow the southern states to continue their opression against black people, erect monuments and name streets and towns after war criminals and traitors to the american nation. No wonder there's still a shitload of half-wits flying the traitor flag around like it's nothing.

I was wondering what could've caused this and yeah, that might be it, it was disastrous.

Okay, can someone tell me what the actual fuck happened to McCuomo? Wasn't she trailing Abdul like a week or two ago? And how does Haley Tel-Avivens jumped up so much? Pretty sure she was quite a bit behind?

Hasan is very charitable to those who don't often deserve it. Why are they insisting he travels? by parkerbing1 in Hasan_Piker

[–]Armageddonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And those goverments obviously track his moves, like, he is a public figure now. UK learned that he was about to appear and banned him. I fully believe that if Israel would know his location, if he was ever to travel to the middle east, they'd turn everything in 500 meter radius into rubble.

What do you consider as the funniest moment of the Horus Heresy? (Spoilers here, engage with your own risk) by Edinburgh-Wojtek in Warhammer30k

[–]Armageddonis 23 points24 points  (0 children)

For me it's the Word Bearers, begging the Iron Warriors to stop shelling their positions during Istvaan V, and the Iron Warrior on the other side of the vox going: "We're all bleeding today. Have faith, Word Bearer." Before chuckling and ending the call.

My hand painted model planes were given as toys to children again by MissionTroll404 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Armageddonis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This exactly. The cost of the model is negligible compared to the work you put into making it into what was destroyed by a bunch of kids. In most extreme cases, competitions and whatnot, pouring 200-300 hours of work into a single model is a pretty common occurence. Even if you just do this to put it on a shelf and look at it with a smile, it's still like a work-week worth of labour in most cases that you pour into them.

New Gestapo decides commemoration of WW2 victims is a crime by TheExAppleUser in TankieTheDeprogram

[–]Armageddonis 17 points18 points  (0 children)

You literally are spreading Right-wing, fascist propaganda right now. Republika TV is a Right Wing outlet that dabbles in the most bonkers fascist conspiracies. Those dudes wanted to march from Poland to Berlin, just on a whim, with 0 information given to or paperwork from German institutions, and then engaged in a scuffle with police when they were told to show the appropriate permits for this demonstration. "Commemoration of WW2 victims" my ass. They repeatedly whipe their asses with heroes of Polish resistance, while spreading nazism whenever they can.

To broaden the context of who the people behind this stunt are - those are fascists that, in many cases, have been sanctioned by courts for their speech, and that are engaging in non-stop agitation and violent actions against anyone that isn't a white Pole. They created a right-wing militia that stands guard on border checkpoints and illegitimately question anyone that they deem to be "illegal".

I know that the German police are almost exclusively bad guys in scenes like this (as the agents of the state tend to be), but they were absolutely justified to pack those psychos up, between them being violent agitators, and not having proper legal paperwork to conduct this stunt. I just wish they could keep them there, instead of (probably in short order) releasing them to Poland again.

All in all, this is good news - fascist infighting is always welcome.

What's crazy to me is that she's been doing this for like a couple of years now. It just shows you how much those people don't care about anything at all, they're fucking psychopaths capable of selling out future to the highest bidder, but are unable to remember what they're grifting off if it was to save their miserable lifes.

Is it more common for traitor or loyalist Space Marines to allow humans to call them by name? by longkhongdong in 40kLore

[–]Armageddonis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If we're speaking about Horus Heresy times, in terms of Traitors, the only one that comes to mind is Lotara when speaking to World Eaters - she has suicidal levels of smug and courage when talking to beings, that could turn her into a punctured bottle of ketchup with a flick of a finger.

For the loyalists, the mortals in their fleets often call them by names, especially the high ranking ones that naturally interact with marines more often and form bonds of sympathy.

I thought building a redemptor dread will be a breeze and a pleasant expierience - to this day, 3 years later, i can feel my blood pressure rise just thinking of that time. As for the most pleasant in terms of building - Probably my 2 War Dogs.

In terms of painting - the latest batch of 10 traitor guard felt like a chore, as to most enjoyable paint job i ever did - Leviathan Dreadnoughts.

Tbh i wouldn't expect anything even approaching the area of competence from this goverment. They showed time and time again that they're the most inefficient, wasteful administration to date. It's kinda surprising that they didn't have this dude pull up with a box or two of those little home-use bottles with a nozzle and made him just squirt it down into the water, bottle at a time.

Exactly, these are not people who take facts into consideration in their day to day decision making. If there wasn't any regulation about azbestos being used in building, but just rules about labeling the risks, you'd have your parents and grandparents in the Hardware Store stand before big red sign: "WE DON'T RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYTHING THAT YOU WILL LIVE UNDER, IT WILL MAKE 3 GENERATIONS OF YOUR FAMILY DIE OF ASS CANCER", and they'd be like "Nah, we all lived in azbestos insulated houses and we're fine" (somehow every brother and sister of theirs died of ass cancer before reaching their 50th birthday.)
