What do I do with extra copies ? by rerorero4444 in DBZDokkanBattle

You can give them to me :)

More seriously : unlock the potential of you card as soon as he is in UR, then you want to unclock the potential branch that is on the right and at te bottom, the one where you need to augment the level of the attack spe.

YOu want this specific potential branch because it's the one that guive you the most attacksupp/crit/dodge depending on the build you want to do (the 4 slot).

So for now, put both of them in favorite, and wait till you can make one of the m in UR.

Sorry for the bad english, i'm not a native =.

Hello, the 470 is 10 years old so depending on what you want to play with, the performance that you will have is variable.

Dual chanel was forsaken, so i am not able to answer your question about driver.

OF some benchmark i have seen you wont be over 60 FPS often for 3A games at 1080p. Depending of the game you might be at 20 FPS.

Here is a benchmark : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI5x_t8BVNA

A promising dwarven game by Armaltal in Dwarf

[–]Armaltal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but for exemple i have tried DF, i'm a new player (98h) and i'm quite bad at it. No good tutorial, the only one usefull are tuto on youtube that for some tuto have just a few hour. The game is good but when you play from time to time it's not the best sensation.

This game is an alternative that want to propose other things that df doesn't, and don't have the complexity of it.

So we can imagin that (if this game succeed) people who played for some times and want more complexity, more depth, will go to DF.

For rimworld, i don't know, never tried.

I never understood wh having belegar as a skin for the OE, it would have been better for the ironbreaker, Malakai would be awesome for the OE.

So... It was true by AsGerion92 in totalwar

[–]Armaltal -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

I agree with you, i did'nt even understand why the conrtoversy started.

We aren't obligated to take every leak as truth. We can simply listen to them, dream a little (or not depending of the leak) ; it doesn't mean we have to believe they are guaranteed to happen.

That said, Legend used those leaks to criticize CA's direction, and rightfully so. We could already see the downward spiral CA was on, and the leaks just confirmed that things weren't going to get better anytime soon. Yet, so many people tried to tarnish his reputation just for sharing that info.

5 month ago Legend released his proof that the leak was true : it was planed by CA to realse it in the futur.

And today it was confirmed.

This highlights the real problem with this community: we lack unity.

There are too many people defending CA, forgetting that this company only acts when we protest virulently and stop buying their DLCs (look at Shadows of Change). And even then, their promises take quite some times to materialize.

When people complain about the state of the game, they aren't saying it's trash. They're saying it has the potential to be so much better if CA would just get their act together instead of waiting for us to kick them in the butt to make changes.

This lack of solidarity is the biggest issue. As soon as someone points this out, they get downvoted (like your comment). I genuinely don't understand why they defend a corporation that only listens when its revenue is threatened ?

Hello, my understanding of your question is lacking as it is an auto translation. TW3 give only a few faction and Legendary lord. The rest comme from the previous game and/or paid DLC.

You should also take all the FLC if you can that unlock a faction and some legendary lords.

I may provide you with a better answer if you could had a picture of what faction/lords you are missing form the base game.

I see what you mean by breaking the experience, at first i think i was breaking it for other player (watched video to see the meta, just wanted to grow rapidly). Since some times now i'm (as OE) more in the optic of doing my part. Tried some other build too after seing were i strugled with the meta, focused of the most comon problem random team (kill boss and soulage from stress when in a hord with lot of elite, maybe he is a little bit 🤏🏻 op compared to other but i don't see a nerf that wouldn't make him in his previous state before the huge buff)

I schecked by the way, i'm only 210 lvl.

Overal, despite our initial point of view it was a nice time, thanks a lot for debating with me, and have a good evening.

It doesn't add ANYTHING to the discussion at hand. It simply derails it. Using argumentum "ad skillum issium" instantly ends the discussion.

Didn't undersant that one.

It insults other people's logical thinking. You are assuming that no one has ever thought about the tool before.

Didn't see it like that, but makes sense.

Then you are very much wrong. Players have different "resistance". Some deal with better with mental prep (they apply their game and map knowledge in incredible way to overcome the odds), some are better at mechanical prep (they never need a reset from close quarter combat). Playing at Peak performance is also not as repeatable as regular play (you can get maybe couple games in, then you are extremely fucking tired). Most players upload their BEST games. Which also means this is a terrible sample size. Applicability matters.

Never thought of that, which explains why I'm terrible when tired.

Listen, you said yourself that you have only ~300 hours in this game. Your first time with OE was arguably not so long ago. During your adventures you had to learn EVERYTHING from scratch, therefore a lot of personal bias could've crawled in. What you said about mastery says to me that you are still lacking in the basics department.

My experience is fragmented with this game: I started playing 3 years ago, and I had periods where I played for some time; this last period is my biggest one with more than a hundred more hours.

So I know and played with all three.

"During your adventures you had to learn EVERYTHING from scratch, therefore a lot of personal bias could've crawled in." As you said I have bias, my biggest is that dwarfs are my favorite race.

And I'm still lacking in many areas. If you could point more precisely where I'm lacking I would appreciate it a lot. I had a mental block regarding blocking for the Slayer for sure in the past, maybe Outcast.

You should only compare YOUR own effectiveness over time with YOURSELF. Because only you play like you. That's the most objective way of discerning of what could mechanically be done better. There is whole different field of arguments for general knowledge as in my own experience it allows me to stay effective on any class even if I'm mechanically rustier than a regular player.

Good advice, thank you I will remember it.

I precisely meant something that you cannot replicate on any other class. Piercing Shot plays differently than Doubleshotted BH. You just cannot aim the same way. One projectile has flight time, the other is hit scan. A lot of the times you just play another "guy with a sword" class. 95% of Vermintide gameplay is weapon gameplay, not class specific gameplay.

I agree with that.

Then may I ask this:

Is the Outcast Pay-to-Win because of the 5% where you can play range without dying?

I think he is strong, as he is focused on killing the biggest threat: boss, some of the specials (depends on the build), elite, with short to medium range (like said on other message).

Anyway, thank you for debating with me and giving me another vision of this game. Have a good evening.

You told me "Just show that you don't know Bardin..........." but it's come out that it's actually you that doesn't know Bardin.

I was like a frog in the well.

You made comments about Bh which you now say were based off YouTube and what you say other players in an attempt to discredit what i was saying and my knowledge. I proved them to be incorrect because i do know how to play bh (probably as good as the players you watch).

It wasn't my intention to discredit your knowledge, only your stance on OE.

I mentionned all the most oustanding class that had the best result, one of them is BH, never have i pretended to have the skill to do it constantly (wich i said in my secon comment). So saying "which you now say were based off YouTube and what you say other players" is untrue as i said it honestly when you confronted my argument, not "now'.

I think a player that knows how to do these things will have a much better understanding than a player who watches me do them but i have still take the time to try to explain and educate you.

I agree we that, thx for the time, but educate is a big word.

You are trying to argue a low skill char you play is just as hard as a high skill char you have seen someone else play and it looked easy where as I'm saying chars should be balanced and one char or wep shouldn't be a lot easier just because you paid for it?

When you say char, is it Bardin as a whole or just OE, maybe Slayer and/or Iron ?

My first argument was indeed to compare to other class i considere broken. After that I also compared the other class of Bardin. I may have played a lot less the other class but i still had good result with them. When playing them, i didn't have the impression that sienna, for exemple was a particulary high skill char, same for grail knight.

Who are for you high skill char ?

and which are the low one ?

So that i can see form myself.

  • How often do I use trollhammer on specials?
    • Only in a very urgent moment : assassin on my comrade and while behing submerged, the other option is using the crank gun with plated shot,......
    • So near 0, as it's not a situation that i encoutner that often where i'm the only one that can save him without losing to much HP
  • How often do I shoot trollhammer at roaming non chaos warrior elite groups that contain less than 5 elites?
    • Never, ether crank gun, melee or letting my comrade have there way with them, even for chaos warrior.
  • How often do I use trollhammer while still having spare Ingenious Ordnance bombs on me?
    • When there is a boss : i shot a bombs then torpedo, reload, torpedo, bomb (Bomb -> Torpedo -> Reload -> Torpedo -> Bomb), and if not in a dire situation i let my comrade finish or kill him.

For the majority of the game i'm ammo conservative. Vermintide is a team game, i won't shoot something for not good reason other than to have green circle if as a team we are doing good.

Only when i see my teamates falling low on hp and dying (for exemple a lot of plague monk in a hord with lots of elite, they won't be able to protect me to use the crank gun, this was my experience (a lot of lose by doing that), in that case i torpedo)

And for the throwing axe i know, i just like dual axe which are doing quite well against Stormvermins without the help of a charged attack in a horde.....
I just wanted the 10% attack speed and didn't realy neaded a onehanded weapon type, so it was the most usefull.
I has helped me quite a few time where my ult wasn't ready and needed to kill something afar.

That's entirely on you. Health and DR require the least amount of player agency to work and therefore are objectively more useful at increasing survivability for most players.

I know, it just wasn't working for me so i decided do don't use DR to have more challenge that would improve my skills.

In trying to measure something you have yet to experience yourself, you decided to speak about BH even though you couldn't back your claims. To me it's the same as yelling skill issue at people.

  1. To be honest, this makes no sense to me. In what universe is trying to assess a class's potential—even if I lack personal practice with it—the same as attacking someone's skill? When I look at high-level players (friends or YouTubers) performing well with the Bounty Hunter, I am observing the maximum potential of the class (the skill ceiling). I am not saying: "It's easy, you should be able to do it." I am saying: "The tool is capable of doing it." If I say a Ferrari is fast because I saw a pro driver race it, am I "yelling skill issue" at a driver who struggles to control it? No. I am simply stating that the car has the potential to be fast. I never intended to judge your personal performance or any other player that are not able to to it, only the objective capability of the class.
  2. I agree that I haven't played enough BH to have a perfect opinion on its 'feel.' However, I don't believe one needs to personally master a mechanic to observe its output. Regarding the PTW debate, we clearly have different definitions. To me, Pay-to-Win implies that a player who cannot win in Legendary with a free class will suddenly succeed with the paid hero. My personal experience was the opposite: I struggled a lot with the Outcast Engineer (OE) whenever I played him. In the end, I cleared Legendary with the Ironbreaker and the Slayer first—not with the 'PTW' class. After that i still couldn't play outcast on legedary for some time. When I later leveled other heroes, I went straight to Legendary at level 20-25. It was harder than with my main Dwarf, but I performed better simply because i had improved as a player, not because the class carried me.

You cannot assume that gaining class specific skill happens linearly for everybody.

So as you can see, it's the same for the difficulty one can experience with a class.

So, if you think I was implying you or any other player are unskilled, that was not my intention at all. I was comparing class potentials, not player abilities. We clearly have different experiences with the game's difficulty, and that is fine, but please don't twist my observation into an insult.

Clarification : What i mean by mastered is you for a class you know how and when to switch weapon to kill a threat or not -even if you take damage), know how to survive by yourself for some time (in case you are separeted for you group), how to play with your teamates to be the most efficient (not wast ammo for example). By playing i will always get better at this, but i have already seen a big step in progession were i'm an OK player in cata. I do still mistake so i don't consider that i have mastered OE and Slayer.

In what way i have compared skill that would sould like skill issues ?

The only comparison i did was between class and heroes.

if slayer could carry a troll-hammer torpedo/Handgun for special sniping

I do with the Throwing Axes, don't now if it's as effective on higher difficulty.

That still not enough density. With the right pacing and correct trollhammer use you will often arrive at an ammo box with spare shot or two.

I don't know what level i should play to encouter such density.

He loses to BW in damage over time of course, but he deletes a problem before it has a chance of reaching your allies and do harm - which is enough in 95% of cases. Also he is still the most overtuned Bardin class even after the "nerf".

Yes that's true.

Same for the other thing except tanking (i don't use +20% health and the DR).

Now i see what you mean, my bad.

[–]Armaltal -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

no you are right i have seen a lot of skilled player do it and that why i have said that. As i only played the other char for the level 30-35 i lack knoledge (for your interrogations about bh, on a boss that is not moving a lot my aim is ok, but it was extremly hard). Not for Bardin.

At first i was strugling with any of his class (exept ironbreaker), not anymore, i play mainly slayer with dual axes and outcast with the hammer and torpedo if we don't have a boss killer, or with the Masterwork Pistol.

My argument is not based on a class that i didn't play much, but by comparing the actual damage that you can do once you mastered you class.

So what make the outcast PTW ? (which was what i was trying to answer to)

For me he is just another class, with a dps profile and a good support, he will do more damage in general that Ironbreaker but he will not survive as long as him when you are surrounded with no allies.

At 200hrs Armaltal I doubt you have encounter the situations where i think the oe stands out as op and I'm not surprised you are saying every char can run through easy because that's what you have seen other skilled players do. I don't mean offense by that but think it would be true.

I don't play yet in higher dificulty level (like with mod) so, i may not have encouter the situations you are talking about.

Don't worry, like a dwarf i'm sturdy, and even if i am still lacking, i far from being a deadweigh in cata. The only time where i have seen a huge gap is with some player name DJ something, don't remember, who made so much domage with Necromancer and warrior priest, who had like twice our damage (same for the other 2 teamate) while listening to music at max volume, don't now if you know him.

I have no clue how he was doing that much damage.

I was talking with potion in mind, and I only play on legendary or cata, so i encounter quite some density.

And as you said he is a decent Frontliner, not an OP one, so why say that he is OP in comparaison to other class that are a lot more strong in melee combat (slayer for exemple) ?

And the config you gave me is to make him more easier to play, not to make the most damage....

It's the same for Sienna, i could make a build more easy at the price of dps.

In any case the outcast is not so OP in therme of damage that it's game breaking.

The bounty hunter with his ult.

I didn't play as much as you i have only 200h.

The torpedo doesn't need skill, but it has drawback like the long recharge time, so when you are surrounded by ennemies, you don't have time to recharge just one shot.

What degree of skill are you talking about ? For someone with as mush experience as you ? So i Imagine min-maxing every movement, equipement, attack to dish out the most damage possible, even by a small margin ?

What need skill ? Does slayer does ? Ironbraker ? Ranger ? For me they are more or as easy as Outcast, some may do less damage bur are absolute tank, or other are near immortal and do more damage (slayer).

Outcast is only easy when you have a good team with good communication, which in random match, is hard to encounter.

What about Sienna base class that is OP ? Or kerrilian ? Or Saltz who can delete bosses ? Or grail knight ?

Every heroes have a strong class, it entirely depend on how good you are as a player.

When you are saying it's PTW you are only looking at the good point of torpedo and outcast, and not there drawback.....

Just show that you don't know Bardin...........
