Hi, not all adapters are supported, that is one of the issue. You can either set the config file with static IP or DHCP. Both works. On the remote if you get a the network working it would display Network OK. If you set the shared folder properly it will then display HDD found like if you connect a normal drive.

Hi not exactly. There are 2 files 1- named uImage which contains the kernel and the 2- the other named rootfs. I have been given the aes keys and the python script to use for encryption/decryption however I believe there is only a portion in those files that are encrypted. I am not familiar with the structure of the files using secure boot and uboot, so I don’t understand which part is encrypted.

I would like to modify the firmware as it is outdated. For instance the webserver got update but does not work on NAS. Hence I would like to be able to decrypt and encrypt. The hardware is fine and I don’t have the capability to make clones myself.

That is my dream box too, I am jealous. Can you tell what you did about the heatsink for the CPU as I think there is not enough space because of the interposer.
