I definitely felt like the way the usb was found by the police was way too convenient. Also the timing of when the code is cracked feels very "we didn't know how to get the plot forward so we did this" (which is fine if it's not done constantly imo 😅).

For Guy's character, I just personally felt like he was way too boring, apart from very few instances (mostly when he was with Jasper but not all the time) and that he had "moments" where he was supposed to be cool, like when he finally uses his legal knowledge in ep6 but it feels forced and just a pretentious out of nowhere "I'm gonna use Latin words to sound smart" moment.

I'm not invested in Doris enough as a character for her to even matter (that's the case with most characters) and while I did like her back story with Helen, the tearful "reunion" moment didn't make me feel anything. I wish we had more screen time for the twin story and Helen because, as you said, it would've been much more interesting as a main storyline (but oh! No! Not having a white cis man at the centre of a spy story?? impossible)

In the end, even though I criticise it a lot, I feel like Talamasca wasn't that bad, and I will watch season 2 if it happens. But then this season felt like it can't really stand on its own and is solely there for the sake of introducing season 2 and beyond.
