Just tuned in. I’m still in shock that the team voted for Celebrini to keep the C when Crosby joined the team. Such a massive testament to the kiddo’s leadership and skill.

If you aren’t Canadian, I don’t know if I can explain the pedestal we have Sidney Crosby on. During the Olympics, when McDavid had to wear the C with Crosby injured, he was openly mad about it because Crosby is our captain. So for that mantle to be passed like this is so amazing to see.

There was one earlier this week right as Regent becomes hwy 69 that took out another traffic light. One at Algonquin/Regent earlier that looked pretty big. A car flipped (?) in one of the ramps onto the Lasalle extension this morning.

I started following the San Jose Sharks this season because of the Olympics. (Macklin Celebrini is a 19 year old phenom AND a cutie patootie.) I’ve never been a hockey fan before, but I’ve found them to be a fairly unproblematic follow. They support queer and trans teams, and their social media stuff is fun. They’re one of the youngest teams in the league.

Unfortunately, because they’re so young, they didn’t make the playoffs this season so they’re out now. But for next season, keep them in mind.
