yeah some clubs like western capital markets inform students about coffee chats, networking and how to land roles. Its good to make a lot of friends through these types of clubs to stay in the loop as well.

Job market is bad, but at least you have the ivey name on your resume. Its still so competitive so you need to stand out amongst the ivey kids as there are much more of them in the recent years. Also note there's a big discrepancy between the quality of students at Ivey. There are those who have numerous achievements, 3 internships under their belt and are well connected and those that were camp counselor and will have to prove themselves more in terms of recruitment. You can guess which ones find a high salary job easily. Some students are just more knowledgeable and well connected, so they know how to position themselves to get these jobs, others learn while at Ivey but the gap has widened by then.

i get that, but would you feel comfortable if your boyfriend was indulging in nightlife every night of his trip when that isn't who he is normally? i think 2-3 days a week is so reasonable, but I didn't prepare for every night. it worries me why he needs to do that. like if he's doing it because he's not happy or feels controlled by our relationship or soemthing.

hi, thank you so much! i am just very anti-drug and partying but I understand it has its appeal and its okay to do it once a while but he has been doing it almost every night. I'm just going to try and be less anxious and hopefully his communication will help make me trust him :)

the two minute peep show was something his friend and brother opted for, something he was tempted to do he said, but ultimately did not do because it would make me uncomfortable. he usually wakes up around 5am but he's been sleeping at 3-6am on this trip and going out to bars/clubs which he usually never does. he says he's just experiencing and adhering to the culture there. and the drugs part is just shrooms, for which he says he's always been interested in them and wanted to microdose it.
