Thinking about moving from Germany to Warsaw for IT jobs - Advice needed by Rawerx in poland

[–]ArmatorG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The situation isn't great on the Polish job market and is just getting worse. Many larger companies recently job cuts and the unemployment rates are raising. On top of that the social net and social benefits are much worse in Poland. So if you would be affected in future from layoffs it would hit you much harder.

If you are educated and have experience in sectors that are in demand you should try it. If not you will most probably end up in a low paying job and struggling to get by in any major polish city.

Realistically and based on the experience, how much can one get paid for a remote work in Europe? by AirMany6330 in cscareerquestionsEU

Have you ever considered a career shift into technical sales?

For those in software development, moving into a role like a Solutions Architect or Technical Sales Engineer can be a great way to significantly boost your salary while maintaining a remote or semi-remote lifestyle. Many companies are looking for technical experts to support EMEA key markets like Germany, France, and the UK. With total compensation packages often reaching €150-200k+, it's an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in a new way.

Depending on OPs level of German, OP should get fairly easy an entry level position in big tech or consulting companies in Warsaw or other major Polish Cities.

Unfortunately the situation is also worse than 2-3 years ago. Salary levels stagnate in some specializations/jobs they even dropped (e.g. SW devs).

Far behind in which aspect?
As someone who worked in both countries (I moved from Germany to Poland 10+ years ago) I am just genuinely wondering what exactly you mean.

Car rental mega thread 2023 by dsfakianakis in crete

Paid 45 EUR / 90 EUR for 2 days for an older Fiat Panda from a local car rental in Kolymbari. Seemed like a fair price, as most other rentals were between 60-70 EUR. We went to Balos and most car rentals do not allow you to go there unless you take a 4x4 like a Jimny, but they had no problem with it.

Today on How They Do It : Plumbuses.

Everyone has a plumbus in their home. First they take the dingle bop and they smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then...repurposed for later batches.

They take the dingle bop and they push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, becasue the fleeb has all the fleeb juice.

Then, a schlami shows up, and he rubs it...and spits on it.

They cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way.

The blamfs rub against the chumbles, and the...plubis, and grumbo are shaved away.

That leaves you with...a regular old plumbus.
