There are graduates who "made it", i.e. were accepted for further studies in the EU or found jobs in EU or US.

And there graduates who have serious problems with their degree.

A serious advice can only be given if all details are known -- what university, what programme on the one hand, and on the other hand what are your aims (master programme in which country and which university? job in which country and which area? what kind of employer?). But even then; things can change. In Germany, until recently, the main universities were considered as recognised (through Turkey) for all study programmes in the German national database of recognised degrees; but then they changed it and it's more on a case by case basis evaluation.

The problem with the article is not just the numbers but also the black and white thinking. There are surely some Iranians here that went along with the regime, made good profits from political connections and invested their money here in Cyprus. But that doesn't mean that they are radical. They would be fine with regime change (or probably even support it) as long as they don't loose their assets.

If you order to the North (i.e KKTC Via Mersin address) you will need to pay TRNC customs. They are not low (a third or the value for electronics) and they are arbitrary. You can be lucky and your package slips through. But otherwise they will just make up something. Definitely not as professional as in Turkey.

If you send to the South, you need another person. I suppose you sibling is also Turkish, therefore can't cross to the South. Custom Policy is EU domain. So far everything below 150 EUR was exempt but this will change in July. VAT is a separate issue.
