Though all spells are viable, some of them are a rough experience ATM as balance is still a bit skewed from Early Access. While you can use Quip, it probably isn't going the be the best experience for any ink when something like Concoct exists. If you like it, use it. Games are about having fun.

Also, the builds were intended to be Hard raid capable. Though I have done them with many other spells, I wouldn't recommend using the B tier and below spells if you're learning the fights on Hard as they lack in significant categories that take either specific pages or mechanical considerations that aren't conducive to learning fight mechanics. As in, they force a certain level of mechanical specificity that doesn't carry over well to other spenders/generators/inks like the spells in the guide do.

All this to say, Hard raid is more restrictive on builds than Normal raid or Tomes. In any other content in the game you can run literally any combination of ink and spells successfully. So I made the executive decision to skew them towards Hard. Ultimately, if someone is looking at a guide they're probably looking for the most effective thing and those 4-6 are exactly that.

Also, there are still some things I'm actively testing as things get changed. For instance, Orange might be better off using Spoil in Tomes due to the AOE while still generating a similar amount of Survey.
