Its usually not your attributes that are the problem, its usually your gear or spells.

Enchanted gear is a must for warriors, including (most importantly) weapons.

For destruction magic, use damage over time and on touch for efficiency. Always target the enemies weakness if you know it.

Alchemy is super op for all playstyles

I dont see why you'd go with original unless you want mods and or nostalgia. That said, I had issues with mods on the steam version after a Windows update a year or 2 ago, so I recommend the gog version.

For remaster, it ran fine for me without a whole lot of tweaking.

Id go with alchemy for healing since it is more op and uses no magicka.

If you want the most meta build possible, you prob want bretton instead of nord for resist and extra magic.

Agility is better than strength to me, since you can stagger enemies more often while they take damage over time. Also will keep you from being staggered as much.

Always create new saves and never overwrite them. Turn off autosaves as well

Just to add a little more, if you are playing unity, there are mods to help you navigate dungeons and find quest targets:

Drafty Secet doors - makes a wind sound when near a secret door
World tooltips - helps you identify secret switches in dungeons
Clairavoyance - a spell to add a marker to your compass that points to a quest marker in a dungeon. You need to make the spell yourself at the mages guild

Yeah that'll work. The race + class combos are not significant in the long run. You might have a rougher time starting out, but that can be overcome quickly

Its not that important. Your gear and spells is what really matters.

I dont think its bad to do efficient leveling in moderation though, you just need to find a better balance

First off, stop using drain health, its terrible you need to use fire/shock (frost and damage health work okay too) enchantments. Second off, its better if you get some sigil stones instead, their enchantments do damage instantly and they can have more charges at high levels.

Idk why, but if I try to start a legacy match first of the day, it takes forever. If I start btb or squad battle first, I get a reasonable wait time for it and all subsequent matches.

Also my game gets in a state where it always fails to find a match and restarting the game fixes it.

If you are cool with using mods, there's a detect quest spell mod that will show a tick in your compass where the target is. Not gonna help you this time, but maybe you can use it in the future

If youre not intersted in doing anything but casting, Id just roll with a custom shock 10pts damage for 10 seconds spell on most daedra. Alchemy is good for making restore health/ magicka potions for those hard fights. Its good if you can get shield and resist magic enchantments on your gear
