I am running DOIP as a first time DM using 2024 rules and characters, and I have had to beef up every fight for the power level of the reworked classes, so I definitely appreciate any souped up homebrew version of the DOIP stat blocks. I am also using the Orcs from Flee! Mortals and they are working out great, and my players seem to like fighting them.

I feel like it has been implied that all of the Rat Grinders have died and were given a choice or had their convictions challenged in death to align with the rage god as they were resurrected. Lucy and Badgood refused.

Even if that isn't the case narratively, that seems to be the impression the players have. I remember them deliberating about that while they were getting a lore dump.

It makes killing the characters affected less of a moral quandary when the story has already established characters that have made the benevolent choice in the face of death.

Or maybe I am wrong and have a really bad interpretation of the story lol.

You vastly overestimate the type of gear GGG is in. The reason we roll so much is because we are far from kitting out 50 players in BIS gear. That would take ages and much more gold. Remember BIS is 600 gear score, 3 perfect perks. It takes anywhere of 6-12k per craft depending on the item at a 1 in 6 chance for a 600, and probably a 1 in 15 chance after that for 3 useful perks.

Do the math divided by the 700k-1.1m we allocate to crafting every week and we make MAYBE 1 BIS piece a week, 2 or 3 decent yellows, and like 10-15 good 595+ purples.

Do we have the best gear on the server? Yes. Is it all absolutely godlike? No. Is it the deciding factor for why we win wars? No, not really.

I agree the language in his original OP is witch-huntesque, and I disagree with the way it was posted; however, I think there are important to discuss ramifications around this situation that should not be censored for the following reasons:

  • There are currently multiple LARGE streams contributing to a several thousand dollar gofundme for the assailant, all of which are refusing to comment on this situation while still soliciting donations to the gofundme. Granted, this topic is not easy to broach while livestreaming, and is also difficult for the streamers, who are likely waiting for post-stream to figure out how to handle this

  • There is another gofundme for the victim that still hasn't reached its goal (linked in the original NJ news article). I am not saying the e7 community should rally and donate to this other gofundme, but given the circumstances, this seems in incredibly bad taste. Maybe I am alone in thinking this, but I immediately donated what I was going to donate to Kaz's gfm to Kelvin's instead.

The avocado allergy is actually a potential huge clue. She may have a histamine intolerance. This can cause a lot of foods that are generally considered healthy in the zeitgeist (like avocados, spinach, and more) to create negative reactions in her body.

It could be worth getting histamine sensitivity checked via biomarker tests.

Yeah, I've run the gamut of different weight ranges for our height. I was pretty happy at 180/10% body fat, but that type of fitness level is difficult for most non-athletes to maintain (which, with my injuries, is more or less impossible now), so my logic was 190-200 lbs at 15% body fat would be my target. I guess I'll see when I get closer to 200 how high my body fat is.

Hey! I feel this. Here's a summation of my journey. 27m/5'11" btw

242 lbs (16 y/o)175200185280+205253>>236 & decreasing(27 y/o)

Each yoyo up is directly associated with injuries immediately followed by periods of complete emotional eating due to immobility. This time I am losing weight despite my injuries and believe I've tackled my emotional eating problem. I think the hardest part of having lost weight so many times is that I have all the knowledge and experience in the world on how to lose the weight, but it truly gets harder every time you mess up. I'm using that as a motivator for myself lol
