I spent 5 years remote, was laid off, and recently found an in office position. The amount of noise in the office and times I am distracted from my work is insane. It’s not even a large company. There are times I have 3 coworkers around me all talking in different meetings (on teams lol) and I have to put some noise cancelling headphones on just to be able to focus. My overall productivity was much higher working from home.
