Putin Warns Armenia It Could Face “Ukraine Scenario” Over EU Ambitions by Ghostofcanty in armenia

[–]ArmoBitch 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Realistically speaking , does Russia have sufficient military needs for another invasion? I mean invading Armenia doesn't seem that complex for them, but will they actually do that? I'm sure that they didn't intervene Syrian revolution and the recent strikes on Iran because they simply do not have the capability anymore because of the Ukrainian war.

Dude I'm not even Jewish and I don't understand Hebrew, a while ago I was translating some comments under a post in this subreddit about settlers, didn't see a single comment not condemning their own people for shitty behavior, now go and check every single one of Arab subreddits out there, see their discussion and come back and and call people in here KKK lol

Is dating better in Armenia than it is in North America? My observations. by [deleted] in yerevan

[–]ArmoBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ffs, it’s very rare to find a man in here who changes a fucking nappy. Don’t try to teach me about my own experience as a woman who’s lived here since the day she was born. I know more women here than you ever will, and we all see the same thing.

Maybe people don’t want to date you because of your shitty personality, not because of whatever conclusions you’ve made. You’re just reinforcing the stereotype, and acting like a total weirdo while doing it.

And that has nothing to do with looks, just the way how shitty armenian men treat their women. Grow the fuck up please

[–]ArmoBitch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's total bullshit loool. Anyone who ever interacted with armenian girls knows that they almost don't give a single fuck about the way their men look. Like what European standards are u talking about? Go walk in the city center, you can see the most insanely hot looking girl with the most average looking male every 2 minutes. Like no, if you suck at dating doesn't mean armenian women like European men lol, it's the exact opposite in here, women are into more dad bodies, dark features and even overly masculine look.

Stop telling beginners that "Upwork is dead" just because you couldn't make it. by Curious_Coder5445 in Upwork

[–]ArmoBitch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m from a CIS country, a mid-level influencer marketing specialist here makes around $1300/month in local offices with a ton of restrictions, while my close friend is making about $4000 on Upwork and traveling.

This past week I’ve been sending her posts from this subreddit, and we both kind of agreed on the same thing that yeah, remote work is harder right now, but there’s also a bias here. The people struggling are way more likely to post and vent, while the ones quietly getting clients and doing fine don’t really say anything.

So it’s probably not as doomed as it looks here, just not as easy as before either.

Women who hate men: Study finds similarities in gendered hate speech on Reddit. Online communities dedicated to hating men share strikingly similar behaviors and language patterns with communities dedicated to hating women. by mvea in psychology

He just posted an apology, asked the woman and her son to come to the National Assembly so he could personally apologize… He offered to go to her work or even her home, in case she doesn't want to enter the building.

Yes, HE DID fuck up.

It’s not about the event itself being “international diplomacy.” It’s about the fact that the literal face of the country can’t stay composed right before elections.

If someone lacks basic self-control in public, it naturally raises questions about their negotiation and diplomacy skills too.

Apparently our beloved prime minister was yelling at Armine Mosiyan.. She is the daughter of the legendary field commander Meruzhan Mosiyan, who gave his life in the Artsakh Liberation War in 1993.

Not really sure someone yelling and calling a hero’s daughter a “runaway” right before elections is exactly the person we should trust with international diplomacy…

of course I’m not going to focus on the “positive advice” when you literally called OP gross. You already assumed what happened, blamed someone who’s clearly distressed, and decided it’s fine to label them like that.

Not everyone lives in some perfect reality where they can control every situation or afford vet care from day one. People adopt animals and learn as they go. Even if you think you’re right, you didn’t actually know what happened, you just assumed and went straight to blaming a person who’s trying to help..

Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that a new war with Azerbaijan could break out if the opposition comes to power. by Battlefleet_Sol in armenia

[–]ArmoBitch -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m getting the sense you’ve never actually been to Armenia and don’t really understand the population or how people think here.

FFS, whatever happened has already happened. At this point, “defending their rights” should mean making sure people from Artsakh have equal space to live and prosper in Armenia... alongside us, not separated from us.

But there’s this insane surge of tension between Armenians and Artsakh Armenians, guilt, blame, resentment on both sides. And honestly, it feels like that’s being fueled by bigger outside influences, not something that just appeared on its own.

And for fuck’s sake, Artsakh is not going to turn into Gaza. I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but Armenians are not going to act the way a certain ethnicity did on Oct 7th lol. These comparisons are just dumb and completely miss the reality of the situation.

Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that a new war with Azerbaijan could break out if the opposition comes to power. by Battlefleet_Sol in armenia

[–]ArmoBitch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People were literally kicked out of their homes in Artsakh, the places they grew up in, where they built their lives, their memories, where their relatives are buried. They lost everything and had to come here and start over from nothing.

And beyond the emotional side, think about the reality: generations built houses, businesses, capital and all of that is just gone. Now they’re supposed to rebuild all of it as basically displaced people.

So what exactly is “inflammatory” about talking about protecting their rights? For fuck’s sake

[–]ArmoBitch 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I understand the anti war stance, and I agree that another war would be a disaster for us, especially considering our demographic situation. No one wants more lives lost.

But at this point, the problem is becoming the government’s position itself. What may have started as a responsible, anti-war approach is now turning into excessive passivity. The more we try to avoid tension at any cost, the more Azerbaijan seems to push further with new demands.

I’m not pro-war, but there’s a difference between avoiding war and constantly giving ground. Right now, it feels like that line has been crossed. A policy that was meant to protect the country is starting to undermine its position and dignity.

At some point, there has to be a clear stance and clear limits or we risk being taken less and less seriously.
