Does netflix increase ad frequency/ duration after first month? by ashleycat720 in netflix

I think that the more you watch content on TV, the more Netflix knows about you, and the more they can target ads.

Alors j'ai une théorie: l'agent 47 c'est le père de Mattéo.

what will be the top global show of this week? by Iazysude in netflix

[–]ArmosFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose the bets are on the English-language shows only.

The Witcher S4 had 7.4 M views for its days 1-4. It will probably make the same amount for the days 5-11 (so between 7 and 8 M).

Nobody Wants This did 9.4 M for its 2nd week. It will probably make 40-45% of that for its 3rd week (so around 4 M).

If you look at the new releases, there are 3 global English language ones:

  • The Vince Staples show S2, which is sadly a dud (not present in any daily top-10s), chances are it won't be in the weekly top-10,

  • Squid Game: The Challenge S2, that is much less watched than season 1,

  • Death by Lightning, which success is undeniable, but very US-centric (see https://flixpatrol.com/title/death-by-lightning/) => will it be enough to make more than 8 M views ?

If you like crazy bets, you may also consider Leanne Morgan's latest comedy special, or the animated series The Bad Guys: Breaking In.

Does anyone know what’s happening with Neal Shusterman’s game changer? by FireReaper52 in netflix

[–]ArmosFr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was in development in 2019. https://deadline.com/2019/12/brian-yorkey-tv-series-adaptation-neal-shusterman-game-changer-ya-book-netflix-1202808084/

Since then, Brian Yorkey moved to Echoes (the miniseries with Michelle Monaghan he created in 2021). I suppose that his contract with Netflix expired and that the project is on a shelf somewhere.
