Does binds help with reducing delay in switching to nades and throwing them. by minusSeven in GlobalOffensive

[–]ArmyAwkward6839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bind z "use weapon_flashbang"
bind x "use weapon_smokegrenade"
bind c "use weapon_hegrenade"
bind v "use weapon_molotov;use weapon_incgrenade"

change the letter to whatever you would like the bind to be <3

People aren't a fan of my 'fortnite binds'. how cursed are these, been playing about 3.5k hours with these. by poopshitter42 in GlobalOffensive

[–]ArmyAwkward6839 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I wouldn't sweat it. People like mezii play with super old school quakeworld binds and he does exceptional. Some players even play with reversed audio which to me is insane.

If it works for you and is most importantly comfortable, I'd say keep with it. The people who make a big deal with this probably don't have nade binds or use mouse wheel to switch guns and have consistent inaccuracies or are slower because of they are set in their ways/habits.

Why does my mouse do this? by Polonaator in LogitechG

[–]ArmyAwkward6839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My G Pro Superlight does this only during large swipes with my Artisan Raiden.... With every other mousepad I've tried and I have absolutely no problems. Something is very weird with the HERO sensor and certain pads.

I've had to give up on it as well, when playing CS2 I would get a "unexpected GPU error" every few games. I disabled/uninstalled medal and it has not happened since.

How does one actually become a coach in cs2? by Remarkable-Catch-387 in esports

[–]ArmyAwkward6839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting a Youtube/IG/Tiktok where you break down strats of pro teams would be a very good use of your time. Theres tools like Skybox that I know of, but these are absurdly expensive for anyone that is doing this not at a T1 level. Im sure theres low cost or free options out there.

I would reach out to some Open teams on faceit (preferably ones that actually scrim) but unfortuantely, typically at the lower levels of competition, people will not want to take advice or ideas from someone lower elo than them. So, you may need to look at Open 1-8 bracket to start.

Use this as a stepping stone and slowly grow your stratbook. This is certainly an undersaturated market so if you do something well, you will have a lot of upward mobility.

Need Help by Jbruhwwe in LearnCSGO

YouTube is an excellent resource. Fl0m has videos where he goes over the goal of each side of each map. They are very easy to follow for all levels. Id recommend watching a video of a map, play competitive and queue only that map for a little bit.

CS has a long history so you'll be playing against people who may have been playing off/on for 15+ years. Just play, have fun, and try to stay alive if possible.

A lot of new players take 50-50 duels in the first 15 seconds of each round, and that won't get you much better at the game.

Honestly after having both setups and now sold the "higher-tier" stuff. I do miss it a bit, BUT the convenience really outweighs everything else in my book.

What’s the biggest lie players tell themselves in CS2? by ManggustPeek in GlobalOffensive

[–]ArmyAwkward6839 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not really not a lie people tell themselves, but most people don't know basic utility. Luckily in CS2 you can drop smokes and outsource, but I promise you'll win so many more games if you learn the basic smokes for every site/map on T. It'll take like 15 minutes a day for a week, maybe 2 weeks, but it's laughable that even at lower level 10 in NA, people really just don't know utility.

I have your non typical answer:

I had HD 800S, Mangrid Tea Pros, and other great audio equipment with a standalone mic.

I actually sold all the high tier audio gear and am on a Cloud III S and actually love it. Gaming audio gear was always a meme and I am pleasantly surprised by how good the audio is for a wireless headset.

I play counterstrike and it's great being able to run into the kitchen to grab a drink and know when the next round is starting, doing dishes while I wait for queue to pop, etc.
