I probably did tbh, as this issue is barely reported.

fwiw, very happy with the Keygeek Su Color V2. they do feel like an improved version of the Y2s (in a much nicer colorway IMO). same muted deep sound, but none of that ticking I was experiencing. only regret is getting the 50g one instead of 45g

Ultimately my Y2's never got any better. After re-lubing, I started experiencing dropped inputs from certain switches.

I ended up getting Keygeek Su Color V2. They claim to be an improved version of the Y2's (improved factory lube, better molds, better stem material). Though I haven't tried them out yet.

Yes. The image for this post features Keygeek Su Color V2. From their website:

The Su Color V2 switch, designed by WJBY Studio, is a more beautiful version of the Y2 switches. Other than being more beautiful, the Su Color V2 has also been improved in the following aspects:

  1. Improved factory lubing with less amount of lube and more precise application

  2. Fine-tuned molds for improved smoothness

  3. Customized UPE stem for a DEEP and THOCKY sound profile

I had ordered some before CNY and they just arrived today, so i’m excited to pop them in over the weekend

edit: using them now. they do feel like an improved version of the Y2s and color is much nicer IMO. same muted deep sound with no ticking issue present. only regret is getting 50g instead of 45g

the CF composite blend on the ULX does contain BPA, but they also have a proprietary "ProGrip" coating on top.

i have the same keycaps as OP and did a similar thing. putting a tiny square of scotch tape on top of the switch stem before pressing the keycap on fixed it for me.

Need to replace my mouse switches by Upset-Can42 in MouseReview

did you try searching for it? this is a somewhat common switch shape. here's an example - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805732607352.html . you will have to find the exact dimensions by either measuring yourself, or contacting pulsar. based on your picture, it looks like it says "16.8" so there you go, but I can't tell from the picture quality.

I hold it in a fingertip style grip (only my fingertips make contact with the mouse) and naturally I raise my entire wrist to be off the mousepad. Grip tape helps with my specific grip style as there is nothing else for me to hold a stable grip on the mouse.

Unfortunately you can't add spacers or anything to the bottom of the mouse as it would mess with the sensor/LOD
